Heritage building refurbished int 1960's era Macanese household
Apr 2019
G32 Gallery (free attraction) is part of the creative arts and historical building preservation efforts found in the St. Lazarus District. Located on Rua De Sao Miguel, this is a two storey Portuguese style building that you can visit when open.

Here you find a downstairs room that functions as something of a gift shop with merchandise made by aspiring local artists. The upstairs is decorated with 1960's furnishing, depicting a typical Macanese household from that time.

G32 is a neat heritage attraction and quick place to visit when they are open, usually on weekend afternoons. If you see the door open when sightseeing in the the St. Lazarus District, feel free to pop in for a quick look around.

G32 Gallery - Refurbished 1960's residence in the St. Lazarus District
Apr 2014 • Couples
The G32 Gallery (free admission) is a relatively new attraction located in the St. Lazarus district of Macau. Here you can find a restored residential property, furnished with 1960's decor and items, depicting the live of a local Macanese inhabitant from that time period.

After decades of neglect and disrepair, this building became unsuitable for habitation in 2011. This is when the St. Lazarus Parish Creative Industry group took over this property and restored it, adding original period furniture and household items, some of which had been left here when the property was abandoned.

There are two upstairs rooms, which have been refurbished. There is also a ground floor room, which has some interesting merchandise created by local artists.

Unfortunately, the G32 Gallery has limited opening hours, Saturday and Sunday 2.30-5pm, at this time. Hopefully this will change in the future as more and more visitors discover this area of Macau.

Overall, the G32 Gallery project is a respectful effort to restore and maintain Macau's past and heritage in this beautiful and infrequently visited area of the city. It is well worth stopping by if you are visiting the area on a weekend.
