Great Macau souvenir shopping !
Nov 2019
This is our fourth time in Macau and we love to visit Cunha Street! Cunha Bazaar is a cute building with snacks in the bottom floor and a hidden gem upstairs full of local Macau souvenirs such as pins, tshirts, bags and more. A must visit if you are in Taipa!

Three storey souvenir and food shop on Rua do Cunha
Nov 2018 • Solo
Cunha Bazzar is a coop business located at the end of Rua do Cunha and is a good place to purchase Macanese snack foods and locally made souvenir products of your trip to Macau.

The shop is multiple floors. Packaged food items are on the ground floor. Clothing, gifts, arts and other souvenirs on found on the upper floors. The shop is open (9.30am to 10pm) every day.

Do spend a minute to enjoy the outside wall art at Cunha Bazaar as well. Its creative and demonstrates the artistic flare of Macau.

Fun place for souvenir shopping in Taipa Village
Mar 2019 • Couples
Cunha Bazaar is a fun place to visit during visits to Taipa Village. This three storey indoor shop is locate aat the north end of Rua do Cunha. Open Daily from 9.30am to 10pm.

On the ground floor, you will find local Macanese speciality snack foods from Choi Heong Bakery. They now sell a few other items such as Coco Legend (coconut ice-cream).

On the second and third floor you will find a range of locally made merchandise mostly under the Macau Creations label. Items include clothing, household items, art, posters, gifts and other knick-knacks. Its a good place to buy a souvenir or two to remember your trip to Macau. Even if you don't plan to make purchase, there is always something interesting to see at Cunha Bazaar.

The floors of the shop are painted within creative and interesting images. The outer wall Cunha Bazaar building is also imaginative, full of colour and worth a couple minutes to enjoy before or after visiting the shop.

Nostalgia abound
Dec 2017
This place is reachable from Venetian (there's a bridge and than a travelator) that leads you to the 'old street'. Alternatively, a cab from the vegas strip should bring you there. Cab fare is between $12 to $24 depending on the route. On the 2nd time that I was there, I was taken for a ride by a taxi driver and the journey, which should be relatively short, cost me $24. Most drivers either pretend not to understand or simply do not understand Cunha Bazaar. You may need to quote KUN NGAR GAI (in Cantonese) as a last resort.

Almond biscuits, snacks shops and restaurants lined the street. I tried the following:

1. Crab porridge (Seng Cheong I think)
2. Lord Stowe's portugese tarts (it's $1.00 cheaper than those sold in their outlets in Venetian Shoppes)
3. Further down the street, you will find the famed retailer selling durian ice-cream (try the premium ones if possible)
4. There's a Starbucks opposite the ice-cream stall
5. Nike outlet at the beginning of the Bazaar
6. Explored the small wet market opposite the Nike outlet

There's a museum and a church in the vicinity. Explore to find out. Interesting finds is not limited to Cunha Street.

Small area but nice shopping
Aug 2017 • Couples
Is a very small area to shop for souvenir and many light bites along the shopping areas. Also if you are in for a heavy meal (lunch or dinner) there are many recommended restaurants around.

Nice souvenirs
Apr 2017 • Family
I loved this place! The building itself is eye-catching with its colorful exterior artwork. So unique and cheerful. They carry really nice souvenir items, better than the usual keychains and magnets and mirrors being peddled to tourists. Definitely drop by this building if you're in the Taipa area. Make it a quick stop before visiting the casinos.

Visit this shop here and look around for the different things that they have here. Yes it is not so cheap but it is a different level of quality here then the standard tourist junk. Here is also a small table where you can write you postcard

Unique Macau inspired and made souvenirs in Taipa!
Feb 2013 • Couples
Located at the end of Rua Du Cunha street just before the Taipa Flea market, you can find the creatively painted and decorated Cunha Bazaar, which is a three floor, joint project featuring locally made snacks from Choi Heong Yuen and lots of nice souvenir items from the creative and artsy folks with Macau Creations.

We really enjoy browsing through the various floors at Cunha Bazaar and usually end up buying some post cards, decks of playing card, coasters or other interesting gifts to send our friends for the holidays or other occasions. Love the panda items, They are so oddly suitable for Macau!

If you are planning to visit Taipa, this is a highly recommendable shop to visit for your souvenir purchases for your time spend in Macau. Everything is creative and uniquely made here by the artists that work with Macau Creations.

For those only spending time in the World Heritage area, Macau Creations has another shop right off the square at the Ruins of St. Paul in the historic city center. According to their website they will be opening a shop in the Venetian in the future as well.
