Creative, artistic an local made gifts and souvenirs

Macau Creations is an original designer brand which aims to promote local artists and cultural uniqueness of Macau. They have two locations, one at the Macau Towers and the other a coop with Cunha Bazaar on Rua do Cunha in Taipa Village.

Here you can find a neat range of products that make good gifts and souvenirs of your trip to Macau. These include t-shirts, coffee mugs, playing cards, postcards, artwork and other related goods that are locally created and produced.

Have a look out (and take a picture with) their mascot the Soda Panda. You can buy t-shirts and stuffed animal of the Soda Panda if you like.

Great Macau themed tshirts and souvenirs

We enjoyed shopping at Macau Creations lower level at Macau Tower for some unique souvenirs, bought some tees and pins from a local brand called "Loving Macau". Reasonably priced for the high quality and stylish designs. Highly recommend all visitors to pick up some souvenirs from here!

Great stop for art and souvenirs made by local artists in Macau
Dec 2015 • Couples
Macau Creations relocated from the Ruins of St. Paul to Macau Towers in 2014. Now they occupy a large open space near the AJ Hackett ticketing in the downstairs area of the Macau Towers and Exhibition Centre.

There is much more space at their new location, allowing Macau Creations to display more merchandise - a combo of typical travel souvenirs, artwork and other items made by local artists here in Macau. I really like their Soda Panda character which you can buy in stuffed animal form as well as t-shirts, cards and other items.

We enjoy picking up made in Macau gifts at Macau Creations here at Macau Towers as well as their shop found at Cunha Bazaar in Taipa Village. In addition to supporting a local organisation and its sponsored artists, you will find unique and interesting things to look over and purchase for yourself and friends back home.

A great place to find something cultural and beautiful to take home!
Jun 2014 • Family
We had been traveling through the vastly crowded Senado square under the baking sun. We were on approach to the Ruins of St. Paul's Church when we spotted a three quirky pandas hanging from a bamboo sign. We stepped closer and there we found ourselves at Macau Creations!

Up a few steps of stairs, from the wall a giant plaster cup burst into the store and underneath were beautifully designed mugs, all featuring genuine artworks from Macanese artists! We always try to find something distinctive, and we were happily surprised. While looking around, we saw beautiful design applied everywhere from the ceiling ornaments, to the decorated floors, to the banister that overlooked a giant stack of matchboxes in the basement. The matchboxes all featured local artwork and design and was constructed in homage to the Ruins of St. Paul's.

Aside from the beautiful conception of the store, the gifts were really neat. Macau Creations works with local artists and features their art on products! The notebooks had characters taken from the works of Konstantin Bessmertny, we were so surprised!! Overall, just a beautiful store with genuine keepsakes to remind us of Macau and its culture.

Unfortunately, we went back a few years later and the store had closed. However, two new stores have opened since! One is on the top floor of Macau Tower! It has a completely new feeling compared to the one near the base of the Ruins of St. Paul's. Its much more modern and sleek, but it still keeps the fresh inspiration we remember from the first location. They had new products but it kept the same values as before!

The staff at Macau Tower Creations told us to check out the Cunha street location so we took a bus to Taipa's Cunha Street. This was amazing! We hadn't expect something like this in Macau of all places where gambling and casino were the main event. This building was painted in a full-scale mural, and inside the ground floor was a quaint little baked-good store. Above it, there were three floors of Macau Creations souvenirs and fun interactive stations. There were DIY postcard creation stations and an in-house mailbox to deliver things right there! They also had a Make-Your-Button station! I definitely recommend checking out the Cunha Bazaar!!!

Great shop for unique souvenirs and supporting local Macanese art scene
Dec 2012 • Family
I feel very strongly about supporting local artists in any destination I go -- and Macau Creations is the perfect place to do just that in Macau. From what I gather, it was established as a hub for Macanese artists to get their work out there. Expect that prices for usual souvenirs like t-shirts, coasters, and mugs to be a bit more expensive, but it's a small price to pay for the craftsmanship and uniqueness of your purchase.

My favorite part, I must say, is the in-store postcard station. Purchase a few postcards (5 for 35 MOP), write on it, decorate with cute stamps of sarcastic pandas, purchase stamps in store and drop them off in the little red box, also in the store. I presume the staff collect all postcards and drop them off in a real postbox. I purchased a book of postcards (of photographs of famous Macanese landmarks with cute angry cartoon pandas frolicking around) for 70 MOP and bought stamps for 5 MOP/postcard to send to Australia and Germany.

Even if you don't end up buying anything, browsing through their goods and admiring the local talent are a treat in itself. But I highly recommend you do! Not only would you take home a unique piece of contemporary Macanese culture, you'd be supporting local artists and helping them pursue their talents to greater heights. Truly a meaningful purchase, even if it's just a couple of postcards for friends -- and it's heaps fun to do, too. :)

P.S. They sell cute iPhone cases!

Good stop for Macau made souvenirs
Nov 2012 • Couples
We found this refreshing art gallery shop on the side street just next to the Ruins of St. Paul and were quite enjoyed the art work and souvenirs found available here. Conventional gifts like t-shirts, coffee mugs, magnets and post cards were available featuring art work designs of a contemporary and interpretive nature from local artists.

Merchandise was understandably a bit more expensive than items found in the traditional tourist souvenir shops selling Made in China goods. We quite enjoyed this Made in Macau specialty shop and consider it a unique souvenir shopping choice for those interested in buying something a bit different special to remember their trip to Macau.
