This is one of the prominent features of the Macau skyline. Rising 338meters high, this structure is hard to miss. It has two observation decks ... one on the 58th floor and another one on the 61st floor, where you can also do bungee jumping or simply do a Skywalk. If you're not brave enough to do any of the two or perhaps don't have enough budget for it, you can enjoy the view from the observation decks just the same. On the ground level there are shops and a restaurant to indulge in. A visit to Macau won't be complete without visiting this tower.

Bungee jumping been always on my bucket list. As I am celebrating my birthday and the same time remaining days in Macau, my friends surprised me by purchasing the Bungee jump ticket in advance. Glad that special rate was offered to blue card holders. The ticket was under my name and during the time of purchase the blue card still valid.
Arrived at the tower on the date of jumping.
Upon presenting the voucher/receipt together with my passport. Receptionist asked for blue card, I kindly informed her that blue card just cancelled the day before the jumping. But instead of giving further information, immediately rejected me and I was told that I am not able to do so. As ticket was purchased only for blue card holders and that is policy. While trying to ask for further details, a staff named Edward B. (not to mention his full name), interrupted with a very rude tune of voice and choice of Filipino words whilst I am expressing to the counter in front of me.
Totally respect and agreed that their is policy or protocols to follow in every company.
However, the instructions weren't clear upon selling of ticket. Not even mentioned any terms and conditions on the actual receipt. Or rather at least mentioned during the time of purchase and reminded that need to present valid blue card instead of any further identification. Because if we we’re informed, we will understand better and change the date or hold the visa cancellation if necessarily.
The reception didn’t give or offer any further options or assistance either, I asked if can refund and they just immediately opened cashier drawer no question asked and gave me back the cash accordingly.
Wasn’t the service or experience I am expecting or maybe because my friend paid for the ticket that’s why they don’t care at all. I just don’t want to waste my friends efforts and gestures, so decided to let it go and bought skywalk ticket instead.
Despite of disappointing experience, I still wanted to extend sincere thank you to one of the crew from Nepal, named Arjun, he assisted me during the walk and took wonderful photos as well. He provided me excellent service and company should appreciate staff like him.

One of the highlights of my solo trip - the Macau Tower! Amazing views by day and night (I went in the early evening and stayed till night to catch both views). I wasn't daring enough to attempt the sky walk or bungee jump but it was thrilling watching other people have so much fun, added well to the whole ambience of the place. The buffet dinner at the revolving restaurant was amazing, such a wide selection of quality food and the service was impeccable. They have a shop selling very cute and well curated merchandise too, for those who want to bring something home as mementoes or gifts. Special thanks to Ms. Victoria Fuh for showing me around and explaining the history and geographical layout of the great viewpoints. I had a truly wonderful first visit to the Macau Tower and will definitely bring friends and family on my next trip!

Unfortunately this was part of my city tour and I didn’t have enough time to do any of those ‘out door’ activity. That was shame, especially because otherwise there is no chance of an open view or take photos without glass re-flash. I like the glass floor spots.
I should have booked it as separately.

…are pretty great and it’s fascinating to see how much the city in Guangdong has sprouted so quickly. However compared to lots of other viewing towers, it doesn’t seem like all that much thought has been given to the experience on the viewing platforms, other than funnelling people toward the very pricey air walk and bungee jump. Still, at its central aim, it’s great to see! Especially when walking on the glass and looking down, that’s a very good feature.

Chose your time to visit when it is early evening. You can enjoy evening as well night view. We visited at around 5 pm and were there for 2 hours. View is spectacular. You can see even mainland China from here. View of roads and bridges and moving traffic is captivating. Go to 61st floor which is open after visiting deck. Wind here will blow you out. It was very cold in November. A must visit if you visit Macau. Didn't try bungee jumping which is the highest in the world.

Tower measures 338 meters in height. Really nice 360 degree views of Macau once you reach the top. You can see the famous Lisboa hotel in the distance. You have the option of walking the outside rim of the tower (skywalk) or bungee jump 233 meters.

If you're an adrenaline junkie, you'll love this place. Macau Tower is the home of AJ Hackett Macau Tower. This is the worlds highest bungy jump at 233 meters (about 764 feet) from the 61st story of the tower.
On most bungy jumps, the fall is so fast you don't get past the initial rush, but this one you free fall for a good 10+ seconds, so you have time to get your wits together and really understand and enjoy the experience. Watch my video on YouTube to see what it's like. Search YouTube for Mykle1AZ.
Macau is a quick, and cheap, ferry ride from Hong Kong. I'd highly recommend this experience to all adrenaline junkies.
For the less adventurous, there are lots of other activities.

Hey,
We are planning an evening trip to Macau from Hong Kong on a Saturday evening and would want to cover the Macau tower only...not interested in the Casinos as such but would just want to walk around the lit up buildings and have a dinner somewhere cosy. So questions:
- if we leave at 5pm from HK - is it ok and sufficent to reach the tower before sunset?
- any suggestion of restaurants around which could also offer decent vegetarian dishes (also, not only!)
- tips for reducing the trip time - which ferry, how do we commute within Macau etc.
let me know if I should provide anything else here for better responses..TIA!
Written September 18, 2017
Not sure what time sunset is, but I don't think you will make it if you start from HK at 5 pm:
- buy ticket and check luggage (if any) in HK - up to 40 mins
- check in and immigration formalities in HK - up to 15 mins
- journey time - around 90 mins
- immigration in Macau - up to 20 mins
- Macau Ferry Terminal to Tower - 15 mins, by taxi

What's the cheapest and fastest mode of transport from the Venetian to the tower? What will be the cost? We are a four member family.
Written May 6, 2017
Free shuttle service of the hotel is the least expensive. However the taxis are not very expensive.

is it ok if my first bungee jump is the one in macau? because it's supposed to be the tallest one and maybe you should have some kind of preperation before doing a jump this big

Hi guys,
I wanted to ask if there are huge queues to buy the tickets on spot ?
Is there any way that I can buy tickets online? As I am not able to find a option of tickets on their official website
Appreciate all your help
Thank you
Written November 22, 2015
The number of tickets to be sold on hourly basis is restricted for safety purpose. It is better to have it in advance. Normally the tour operators provide it to you if you are using their services. However when i visited it was not a peak period and the tickets were available on the counter.

How much is the cost for bungee jumping? Is there an entrance fee in this tower?
Written September 7, 2015
Hello maraness,
According to the AJ Hackett website, the cost to bungy jump at Macau Towers is presently MOP3988 (US$499) per person.
Written January 8, 2016
Very expensive, HKD 2600-3000, and if, after waiting a few hours for your time to jump, you decide not to do it, there is no refund.
Written January 31, 2015
What's the price otherwise to do the skywalk/bungee?
Written January 31, 2015
I was there last year December with my hubby and 2 daughters ( 19 & 22 yrs old ) for our post Christmas. We enjoying the atmosphere, scenery and snacks & drinks though we didn't taking part in the adventure activities.
For the pricing of Bungy Jump and Skywalk, you can visit their website by AJ Hackett cos they have various type of adventure activities. If not wrong those prices are not including the entry Macau Tower fee - HK$135/-. If you are going to take part in those adventure activities then I suggest you reach there at 11am cos start from noon time will be crowded with ROC ...
Beside the adventure activities, they also have VIP Sky High ticket which cost HK$208/- on weekdays and HK$218/- on weekends. The ticket price included: 1) Access to Observation deck ( level 58 ) and Adventure deck ( level 61 ); 2) 12 minutes telescope view of entire Macau Peninsula, Taipa, Coloane and Cotai and 3) Snack delights and Drinks.
Hope the above information are useful for you.
Written February 1, 2015
What time is it open from and what are the charges for entry? Bungee? etc ??
Written January 31, 2015
The entry ticket is for 135 HKD per adult. That translates to approximately INR 1082. It's non-refundable.
