Hard Rock Casino hotel is one of the hotels located at the Cotai Strip. It is more of a place where you can see lots of Asians gambling and it can be very packed at times. The live table games are very Asian orientated and the slot machines are all state of the art. Lots of entertainments and lots of fun here. However, if you do not have a deep pocket, please avoid this place. You tend to spend a little bit more than expected once you are in the gaming floor.

Very, very, very different from Vegas-style gambling
Jun 2017 • Family
All of the casinos we visited in Macau were pretty similar, so this review would cover them all. Casinos were gorgeous: Immaculate, calm, partitioned off from anyone not old enough to gamble, etc. And therein were our issues ;-). We are so used to gambling in Vegas, where slots are loud, people are loud, something crazy is happening every second, and the drinks flow. Here, most people are drinking water and gamblers are sooooooo serious (we learned that Macau casinos take in more revenue than Vegas).

It's not bad, just different, you know? As long as you go into it prepared, you could easily enjoy your time gambling. For us, we ended up saving all of that money and spending it shopping (making our teenage kids quite happy)!

Lots of machines and tables to select from all with different minimum bet prices.
Was pretty empty when we walked through to find the cafe, although it was early afternoon. Lots of TVS if you also want to keep track of a selection of sports.

Just a casino

General remark: don't think that casinos in Macau remind those in Vegas: different plays, not cards in machines, and it would be better if you speak Mandarin.Smoking in designated zone. Apart from that: nice place, many chances for gambling and it is HARD ROCK!

Great Evening!

Came here with a friend to celebrate my birthday!
Always feel like a high roller because of using HK dollars instead of USD!!
Slot machines are somewhat limited and they got rid of all my favorites and everything is now in Chinese!
Found some that I liked and had a big hit of $1500. USD
Nice birthday present!!😀

Outstanding service and food!
Oct 2016
Visited this Hard Rock restaurant three times during our stay in Macau. The staff were extremely friendly, yet professional and made our visit very enjoyable. Very helpful with providing tips for things to do and places to see. The food was outstanding-fresh, well presented, good portion size and reasonably priced considering the location. It was so good -that is why we returned. My favorites were the Big Cheeseburger and salmon dinner. Would definitely return. Try the Long Island Ice Tea--!!

Gambling with the music you love
Sep 2016
If you have to gamble, and you do it like I do- losing, than at least you can do it with some amazing music at the Hard Rock.

Totally love the place
Sep 2015
This is our 2nd stay at Hard Rock hotel Macau. I must say I totally love the place as the room is really new and clean. We selected a high floor and was allocated at 21st floor with very nice scenery. The staff was very helpful to call the elevator and carry our luggage up to our room.

The hotel bus service is very frequent which comes every 5 to 10 mins. Will recommend anyone who visit Macau to stay with Hard Rock Macau.
