- Czar EmmanuelManila, Philippines10,221 contributionsThis casino hotel has a very distinct façade that glitters in gold in daytime and at night with amazing lights. It's a paradise for gamblers, but for me it's enough to admire its structure both outside and inside. Its casino is not that big compared to other casinos I know. Its lobby is also quite simple compared to that of casino hotels along the Cotai Strip. But the place has its own beauty and fascination, being the tallest building in Macau and being the most distinctive feature of the city's skyline.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 3, 2024

The lobby is impressive and the game room is gigantic .I didn't visit the rooms , so I cant say nothing about it.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 19, 2024

The Grand Lisboa Casino should be the largest casino on the island of Macau. The luxurious and bright towering building looks like a new landmark in Macau. There are many gambling tables and slot machines in the casino, which are always crowded with gamblers looking for opportunities to make a fortune overnight. Spending a little money here for entertainment is a good experience. The internal restaurant is quite good, and the meals are all gourmet-grade. You can also dine here if you don't want to go to the gaming table. There are many free shuttle buses to and from important transportation and sightseeing locations, which is very convenient.

The new Lisboa can be seen everywhere in Macau. The dazzling, encompassing golden structure is the de facto landmark of the former Portuguese colony. It is also a symbol of the city's gambling industry in its most explicit form. The interior is less impressive and quite similar to other casinos.

We made good use of their free shuttles from the ferry terminal which was quite convenient although crowded. We waited in line but it moved quickly. Coupon books were given when boarding the bus and we were able to receive a free umbrella each using one of the coupons inside. This is probably the most popular and oldest casino in Macau. It's much more like any other casinos in Las Vegas comparing to the time I came here forty years ago.

Like many of its counterparts, Grand Lisboa is truly grand, huge and clean! The place is easily accessible by the many networks of free shuttle bus services.
However, in terms of wow factor, it is definitely a shadow of Wynn Palace, for instance.
Nonetheless, good hotel.
(PS: This is where you queue to get onto the buses to go into China).
Long queues on Weekends, so beware!!! Queues can take up to 3hr.

It’s a nice casino, I don’t gamble so I can’t really comment on the gaming experience but I love this one because of the architecture, interior and the displays. The gold displays, the ivory displays, ohhh much art for my heart ❤️. The details of how each one was made it was really amazing. Plus plus I love the lotus fountain in the lobby and the chandelier. It’s a must visit when going to Macau.

A very beautiful hotel and casino in the heart of the Macau CBD. A very unique architecture.
Highly recommended to visit especially during the night.

There are several floors that include machines and tables. The payout was so poor that it was simply not worth trying the machines. The bets at the tables are quite high. We did see some exotic dancers :) Right in front of them is a paying bar, but hardly anyone there. It is worth stopping by, but don't expect too much. As mentioned in the title, they do not serve free alcoholic drinks. You can get soft drinks, water, coffee and/or tea but the waiters are not very prompt. We met a nice waitress from Indonesia who noticed that I was cold, so she got me some tea. All around Macau, smoking in closed public places is forbidden, so this was a big plus. However, if you are a smoker, you will find smoking areas in the casino, or you can step outside.

Went there mainly to have lunch. They have friendly staff and a good affordable menu in one of the restaurants (RTC - noodle and congee). Just be cautious if you are ordering the spicy stuff - the item i ordered was **really** spicy, so much so that i had to buy antacids for relief.

Grand Lisboa Casino is a stunning architectural building that is ideally located at the heart of the historic city.
Anyone should step inside just to have a look at the great arts and national treasures from Mr Stanley HO personal collection that are displayed inside (and for free). It gives another insight at Macao's history. And from there many other famous landmarks and eateries are within a quick walk.
