Great museum ! U can see a fine art and the government has made effort to keep the building. Esp the garden, u can imagine the old days the CHENG's family taking rest under the old trees. A good place for sightseeing.

Is one of the kind in the territory of Macau, a piece of history that was abandoned for several years, but recently refurbished and open to general public. Easy to access, close to other attractions, this free of charge attraction deserve a visit, to do it please reserve around an hour. Is also a good scenario for some great portraits.

My daughter and I visited the mandarin house and found it full of character, and history. We were able to take a lot of pictures in B/W which is highlighting the old vintage era. He walked around the grounds and felt what it may have been like back in the days. We had a great time and recommend this visit... More

Great place to photograph. If you can stand the hot sun. Rather tranquil too, and not many visitors.

Having travelled extensively in Asia I have seen my fair share of older Chinese houses. This one is beautiful, tranquil and akin to stepping back in time. In addition to the gorgeous architecture, lovingly restored only recently, the house contains antiques such as wooden Chinese screens that are well worth a look. Visited during Lantern Festival so house was dressed... More

Beautiful rooms, very peaceful and meditative. Very well redecorated , not overdone. Also very sweet turtles near the entrance.

The "must" spot if you are visiting Macau: all the historic sites of the town are nice and rightly enlisted in the Unesco World Heritage list but the Mandarin's House deserves really to be visited with attention

This attraction is off the main road, so you'll need to keep a lookout for its entrance as you searched in the narrow walkways. You'll be transported in the era of Chinese Mandarins with the well-preserved architecture such as the traditional courtyards, high beams in the many rooms designed for different family members. It is a good history lesson for... More

In the midle of most atraction , interesting but not unmissable. Nice to take a break, specially if you go in vacation time, like in august: hot & crowded.
