My partner and I were blessed to book a session as the spa opened at 11AM, entering an oasis of calm and solitude as the first clientele of the day. We were sat down and offered a consultation of their services, allowing for customization between us. After making our decisions, we enjoyed the usage of a private room overlooking Nam Van Lake, with the calm flow of unhurried traffic over 'Old Bridge' in the foreground, and the soaring skyline of Hengqin and Macau Tower in the background, all whilst the shimmering silver-colored water of the lake blended the view together, relaxing the eyes. In the room, a steam shower and large jacuzzi were already prepared for our usage. Our wonderful welcomer suggested we take thirty minutes to enjoy the facilities, and so we sat in the steam shower for ten minutes, allowing our pores to open, and then enjoyed a soak in the jacuzzi, permissing the powerful bubble jets to prepare our tired bodies for our upcoming massages. Our massage therapists knocked on our doors, and were welcomed in by us. My partner and I laid face down, on separate massage tables that lay adjacent to one another, and were immediately welcomed with a warm towel on our bodies, from shoulder to feet. Our therapists applied essential oils onto their palms and offered the scent directly to us, instructing us to take deep, long breaths, to relax the mind. There was a gentle yet powerful ding from a bell, the soundwaves vibrating through the air of the room, and our massage began. For my partner and I, what followed was a 120 minute session of the best massages that we've ever experienced. I must confess that my shoulders are knotted like stones; it's quite difficult to loosen them up. My therapist is a master at their craft, applying powerful strokes with slow movement in order to break down the grip my tired shoulders hold on my life. Amazingly, not once during my session did I hear my therapist become out of breath, despite the amount of force that was necessary to relax me. (Actually I'm including this detail as a sincere compliment to my therapist's skills and masterful control). A second ring from a bell resonated through the room, signaling the end of our session. I felt like I melted into the massage table. After getting dressed in robes, we were offered tea and cake, a sweet ending to an absolutely relaxing morning. I highly recommend a look into booking time at the MO Spa, allowing yourselves to be pampered with the professional and skilled services of their therapists, melting into the massage table like us. I left with mind cleared, shoulders and body relaxed, ready to calmly continue my day. I look forward to visiting again. Our therapists Na and Ratsamee are very skilled. They are very professional in doing the treatment that made us almost forget our names. We had a wonderful treatment. The receptionist named Nemia is also very professional and presented the selection of treatments and oils carefully. She also gave us a clear explanation about the facilities. The room is well-designed and a birthday cake was presented after the treatment. We felt really welcome and special. It is highly recommended.

The best spa experience in The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Macau! I chose the 90mins facial treatment and 30mins India head massage, my friend chose 90mins body massage and 30mins facial treatment.
