Could not find this place but according to locals on the street Beer Temple is closed!
The streets surrounding are interesting but we remained thirsty for quality beer.

Went there for dinner on 11 Oct 2018. Nice ambience and I guess the main selling point is that they really have all sorts of beer that you have never seen before. It’s quite interesting seeing all kinds of beer being displayed on the shelves.

It’s a pity that we didn’t get to try the beer as we had to work after our dinner. I would rate the food between decent and nice. Salted egg pizza was pretty good. However the “one litre chicken” could have been better. I suppose they didn’t marinate the chicken long enough. Truffle fries was good especially when you dip into the chezzy sauce!

Don’t expect a quiet ambience as people will start drinking and making noise once they get high.

Having said that, I would still recommend this place especially for beer lovers!

Nice getaway from the busy Ruins of St. Pauls (just 2 minutes away), situated in the old commercial district area. The area has signifiant cultural and historical value, there are a lot of old shops selling antiques, local delicacies but has been recently revamped with a number of interesting new business and art galleries.

We went for a couple of beers, the place is nice, also the beer and the service. But when we fix the bill, they kept adding money to the final amount. Money for service and money for extremely expensive water that they put in the table without order. Was very uncomfortable and we left with empty pockets and a bitter feeling.

I happened upon the Beer Temple at the suggestion of a friend. Rather secluded in the tiny streets of Macau, I found the place and was pleased with the very new and modern decor. Once inside and seated at the table the menu was delivered on a clip board which is rather unique. The choices on the menu were also quite unique in they were of a fusion cuisine. My friend and I chose to have a meal of mostly appetizers and one main course to share. We had the Salty Egg French fries, Chinese Salt & Pepper, Garlic Butter Corn and OHSS Cucumber. For the main course we shared a wonderful Jumbo Scallop Salad. The portions were very good and plenty enough for the two of us. The wait staff was very polite and welcoming and the restaurant was immaculate and clean.

Passed up Beer Temple recently and was pleased to find that they had reopened after an extended closing after the typhoon struck Macau last September.

During this occasion, I enjoyed a La Trappe Dubbel (MOP50), a quality Dutch beer along with a small pizza from partnering business - One Creative Cafe Express a small pizzeria just across the street from Beer Temple.

The pizza ordered was the spicy chicken (MOP60 - small, MOP100 - large) that was surprisingly good. Thin crust was baked nicely and bbq sauce base was nice. Pizza had a fair amount of chicken, jalapenos and fair quality cheese. With a bit of tabasco sauce added, this was a flavourful, hot and tasty pizza. Went very well with my La Trappe.

I always enjoy the cold import beers at Beer Temple. Now I have a pizza order to anticipate during future visits as well.

A nice place in the heart of Macau. A type of beer for everyone the shop is small, but is good for a quick drink or to collect a cartoon of beer to take home and enjoy :)

Ice cold beer with plenty of selection. Need to St Paul, when you see Starbucks, first left turn down the stairs, go Straight down and it just opposite road!

Beer Temple is located in the small line of shops sandwiched between the beautiful Rua Dos Ervanarios and Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo, just a 1-2 minute walk from the Ruins of St. Paul. The bar has been open since 2015 and has made a great addition to the growing food (and drink) scene around the Historic City Centre. Opening hours are 11.30-10pm daily.

Beer Temple is one of the only places in Macau that offers international craft beers. This wasn't possible in Macau just a few years back but now there are a few places around the city. However, Beer Temple is the best location for those sightseeing around the Historic City Centre, seeking a beer break and a chance to rest your feet. They offer up a decent range of reasonably priced (MOP45-55 per bottle) of Belgian, Dutch, American, Australian handcraft and microbrew labels.

There are a handful bar side, barrel tables both inside and outside the bar. The bar is interestingly decorated with hanging bottles and a wall full of international bottles from around the world.

Note: Beer Temple is actually part of a co-op along with the shops next door. As such, you can order chicken and other fried snack foods from neighbouring - Hencredible and which can be taken at Beer Temple.. They offer evening happy hour promotions as well where you buy a beer and are served from snacks.

Note: Beer Temple has a second branch in the St. Lazarus District as well. Check their facebook page for map details.
