Delphinus Diving School Gran Canaria is a chain of PADI dive schools located in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Mallorca. In Gran Canaria our dive club is located in Puerto de Mogan, a beatiful local village, where beside diving, you can spent a wonderful day on the beach. We offer PADI dive courses from beginner to pro, diving to several spots and snorkeling trips. We even have dive courses for children. Furthermore you can enjoy the Discovery Scuba Diving Course and experience a dive in open sea. If you like it you can continue to become a PADI Scuba Diver or a PADI Open Water Diver. We also do more specialized courses like underwater scooters(DPV) or solo diver training. Our international staff will lead you in the most emotional experience you can have on your holiday in a professional way. With Warm weather all year long, wonderful beaches with white sand, amazing underwater life, beautiful house reef Diving Spots, perfect logistics, a comfortable environment. .

We dived with Delphinus Diving School in Puerto de Mogan with a group of 20 divers from our LIFRAS (CMAS) diving club H2O DS from Belgium, to discover dive sites in Gran Canaria in the last week of October 2024 for 6 days, 2 dives a day.
The group was diverse : from beginners with some 15 dives to experienced instructors.
We made great dives, and had a lot of fun, discovering wrecks, fish and animals in the warm waters of Gran Canaria. We also made shore dives and a night dive.
The whole team of Delphinus Diving School is really kind and attentive, making sure that everyone enjoy the dives. Thanks Martha, Michal, David and Greg!
Special kudos for the night dive in the house reef : the old port of Puerto de Mogan : it was magical! :-)
Just one thing : next time, we'll try to have a hotel in Puerto de Mogan, and not in Taurito : the direct road between the 2 sites is closed, making the ride much more longer ;-) But it's part of the adventure :-)

We went snorkelling as a family of 3, myself and my 2 boys aged 6yrs and 8yrs. David really looked after us, he was very patient with the boys getting all their kit on and helping them in the water with flotation boards they could hold onto. We saw some lovely fish and had a really fun and positive experience! Highly recommend.

Wow! What an experience! Firstly thank you to our diving instructor everything was explained brilliantly and in detail to make sure we were safe. The water was lovely and the fish! Wow the colours and there was so many! Bring a banana the fish love them!!! Also bring some money as youll need to buy a mouth piece €4 each. But it was an amazing experience and has made us want to get certified in scuba diving

I did two dives and cancelled one snorkeling dive. The divemaster and the equipment were good.. However, they kept us waiting for two hours at lunchtime with a fully equipped nine years old kid without any explanation. In the end we had to cancel the snorkel and deal with a hungry and disappointed child

We did enjoy our snorkelling over all, but as complete beginners it would have been nice to spend more time getting us use to the equipment before heading out to sea.
As a result of this my husband didn’t feel confident enough to continue to the snorkelling spot just outside the protected harbour. This was such a shame as it really did spoil the day out for us and for a few extra minutes tuition, this could have been solved.
Lovely team of guides and the fish that my son and I saw were amazing.
Just to add that my husband was not the only one in our group of eight that couldn’t do the snorkelling, another lady didn’t feel comfortable to snorkel after the tuition either.

Our fourth year visiting and diving with Delphinus. No courses this year just lots of recreational dives. Completed a variety of open water dives from the shore and boat to several different dive sites. Thanks to Marek and his team for being so welcoming and special thanks to Jonathan for taking the time to undertake so many dives with Dawson. We hope to be back very soon!

I have been diving in Gran Canaria - Mogan for a few year now and this is the first time I am diving with Delphinus. They showed me a complete different underwater world of the island. They know soo many different diving locations on the island, which I am sure the other dive centres in Mogan are unaware of since I have been diving with most of the others.
Dive centre itself is very clean, neat and tidy, staffs are very professional and keep safety to a very high standard, moreover they are very organised and adhere all new hygiene standards very strictly.
Keep up the good works guys and I will see you all very soon.

I went to Gran Canaria this summer and diving with Delphinus was the highlight. The staff is very professional and they even have a professional photographer with a really high resolution camera. The underwater life was amazing and to this day I tell people about how I went scuba diving in the Canary Islands, I can also show them the pictures from my dive. This was a life changing experience and I'd recommend anyone to try it.

Actually the minimum age is 8 years.
Children of 8 and 9 years old can do a very nice, easy and safe program PADI Bubblemaker. Really good fun for children!
Starting from 10 years children can enroll in PADI Junior Open Water Diver course and get a proper certification.
