About Gran Canaria Divers
Gran Canaria Divers is a modern diving center, located in Puerto de Mogan, on the island of Gran Canaria. Also known as Venice of the Canary islands, Mogan offers great diving all year around. Our house reef is very popular with many dive centers on the island and offers some of the best diving around. Right in front of our dive center, we have barracudas, angel sharks, eagle and sting rays, tunas and schools of smaller fishes. We have brand new Aqua Lung & Mares professional diving center equipment. We know how important it is to have equipment you can trust, so we went for the best. Our staff is all high PADI ranking, very experienced and friendly. If you choose to do your PADI course with us, we will make sure you come out the best diver you can be. With safety and fun in mind, our courses are done individually or in very small groups and we do training dives on our beautiful house reef, right in front of our diving center. On a daily basis we have 2-3 guided shore, boat, cave or night dives. We also dive the natural reserve El Cabron and the north shore of the island... So see you soon in the blue :)

I decided to go for a morning dive on Saturday morning just after visiting Puerto de Mogán Friday afternoon. Had a great dive with Lars to see a ship wreck, a sting ray, and several types of fish I hadn’t see before including 4 barracuda. Also special shout out to Patrick and Emily for making a good case to me to go on the dive Friday afternoon and helping me out before and after the dive. Great people, I can highly recommend! Aloha!

I saw shed loads of Stingrays diving with Gran Canaria Divers at the Meteor. Thanks Lars and Patrick. The team were very helpful, friendly and adaptable. They were great in taking my son diving (13 years old) who only started diving this year at the same time as me who is a crusty old diver that has been diving for a very long time. It is nice to be able to send and email then be offered dives that you want to do and not just be told that this is what we are doing take it or leave it. Keep up the good work.

Lara and the team were so helpful, professional and understanding. A fantastic experience I cannot recommend enough if you are thinking of taking up scuba diving, booking a diving trip, renting equipment or looking for advice. Fantastic experience.

There are no superlatives adequate enough to rate this outstandingly professional and wonderful dive centre. Their team of knowlegable, experienced and thoroughly friendly divers have gone above and beyond at every stage, I cannot recommend them enough. Twelve months ago I completed my Open Water course in the UK and absolutely loved it. Fast forward to Tuesday just gone, the first day of my holiday and I'm the atypical kid in a candy store, knocking down the door of Gran Canaria Divers to book a dive. Francesca greeted me warmly and helpfully assisted me in choosing the most appropriate dive to kick start my trip. The next day, I arrive with bells on ready to enjoy the highlight of my holiday, a casual meandering jaunt through the beautiful House Reef a mere stones throw from the Dive Centre, which is massively helpful for someone as effort averse as myself (scuba kit is heavy!). Again, a warm and friendly welcome was offered to me, this time by the charismatic Ali and the beautifully convivial Emily, both of whom were most helpful in guiding me through the obligatory paperwork and in helping me choose the best rig for me. Which, by the way, is of the highest quality and impeccably cared for and kept. Suited, booted and briefed by our instructor/guide Lars (again a consummate professional), I was ready to go... Disaster. Random panic attack as soon as I entered the water. Even with Lars' patience and calming tone. His helpful guidance, his understanding and empathy. I wasn't diving today. Gutted, absolutely gutted. Now here is where, for me, the team at Gran Canaria Divers came into their own. Both Ali and Emily helped me de-rig, were absolutely understanding, non-judgemental, empathetic, humorous, positive and most wonderful (I could go on; kind, encouraging, reassuring, really I could!). They didn't pressure me into any decision, encouraged me to take some time to consider, but recommended a "Diver Refresher" as the next step and for this I cannot thank them enough. I proceeded to watch their videos and see their photos on Instagram (follow them if you don't already!) and inspired (but equally kicking myself because I couldn't dive first time) I vowed to return. The next day I would book the refresher. Patrick's warm amiable smile greeted me and I booked the refresher for Sunday afternoon. At this moment I had a thought, perhaps my own mask would be beneficial. So with Patrick's Knowledgeable and experienced advice, I walked away the very happy owner of a very reasonably priced scuba mask. Thanks Patrick! It's now Sunday afternoon I'm sitting with a cold beer overlooking the beautiful beach and bay where I have, only minutes ago, thoroughly enjoyed an energising, empowering, and enlightening dive through the House Reef with the personable and delightful Francesca (patient and understanding throughout, thank you Fran!). An experience I have no doubt wouldn't have had if it wasn't for the warm and affable team at Gran Canaria Divers, in particular Emily and Ali. Thank you. As a wise and beautiful person once highlighted to me, we spend our modern lives with a million things going on in our heads, sometimes we need to take a step back and focus on what's immediately at hand, be that eating a tasty meal, a glorious sunset or, for me today, the calm serenity of being under the waves. One must remind oneself to savour these moments. Moments I wouldn't have had without the support of Gran Canaria Divers and moments I can guarantee you will experience with them also. ... I think I'll book another dive for tomorrow.
