This submarine is definitely something i wouldn’t miss if in Mogán. For those worried about submarines due to the submersible incident a few months ago, I can assure you it’s nothing like that. It only goes around 20m deep, so isn’t something you should miss out on. The submarine itself is quite small but very long, with each large window having two seats next to it, & headphones for an audio tour is also provided. They have a range of languages (around 9?) which give details about the fish that you encounter & the general biodiversity of the area. There’s a small screen below the window which shows the submarine descending into the water, which was interesting to watch at the start.
You do end up encountering mostly the same types of fish, however there are often a lot around which just happen to be well-camouflaged. Sometimes the fish even follow the submarine around as you progress through the underwater structures. I’d recommend sitting near the front if possible as you can see the people driving the submarine who have a much better view.
As for cost, i’d say it’s fair considering the coordination and effort they have to go through to avoid other ships, etc. We payed around €90 for 3 people (all classed as adults). Once you board the submarine, you have your photo taken & at the end you can pay €5 for 2 pictures (brilliant considering how ridiculously expensive they are on most rides/experiences/etc).
Once back on land, there’s a beautiful little cafe/restaurant with a view looking over the sea, also perfect for relatives/friends/etc who chose not to join you, as you can see the submarine travelling around. To reach the area where the tour begins, it is quite a complicated walk around all the boats if you don’t know the area, so if you’re unsure leave earlier.
The only improvement i can think of is to be able to see more greenery & types of fish however i know that isn’t something which can be easily controlled. Overall highly recommend!
