Avoid Tigaki tours
Aug 2021 • Family
Agree with the last review - avoid this company. The timings they give are inaccurate (as in much less than advertised), they are disorganised and over book excursions. The driver on our tour was rude, didn’t wear a mask and treated the customers like scum. We ended up having to wait on the side of the road waiting for a second bus to come. Everyone was up in arms about the lack of time we had at our destination and the disorganisation. It was supposed to be a lovely trip out but it ended up being thoroughly stressful. Others passengers mentioned the 3 bay tour they went on where they had to sit on the floor of the boat because it too was over booked.

Wouldn’t use these again!! Tigaki Tours
Aug 2021 • Friends
Booked a bus trip, waited at front of hotel as told , 10 minutes before pick up time , nothing! When we went down to ask why, told the bus was there for half hour waiting for us, then he actually drove up in car to get us but we weren’t there!! Right!! So we must obviously lied about being sat waiting!! Asked for refund but flatly refused

Safety concerns re Covid19
Aug 2020 • Family
First trip was 3 bays. Ok but only found out by another passenger that there was no bbq as advertised. Got one sandwich each & no drink so not impressed.
Second trip was sunset in Zia.
Main gripe is the transfers. Lots of people either not wearing masks or had them on their neck. One passenger with no mask caused others to move to distance themselves as coughing lots.Tour guide showed no concern to these issues, even when pointed out. More interested in talking with her boyfriend.
Would not recommend.

Good company for rent a car, NOT for Bodrum trip!
Sep 2019 • Couples
We book from Tigaki Tours a car for one day, that was ok. You don’t need deposit and the car was ok.
But the other one was horrible. We also book a trip for one day to Bodrum, Turkey. The boat was ok, fast one, but our guide was a disaster. He asked us if we want to join a city tour with him and after that we will have 2 free hours in the city. DON’T make the mistake to join the city tour! The guide take us to the second corner, tell 2-3 words about the citadel after that a bus take all of us, bring on a hill where was nothing, he said that was an amazing view, despite the fance that was in front of us and after that he bring us to a gold market... mhm... an expensive one, not a traditional bazar. We lost half an our here. No one wanted to buy something from here but bonus we stayed another half an hour there because our driver Suleyman left.
In conclusion you lose about two hours to see nothing with the guide. Choose another company for this trip or go and visit to yourself!

Disappointed
Sep 2019
Was on a bus for an hour picking every man and his dog up from Michelangelo to other side of the island when I should have gone from Kos Town some 10 mins away to do the 3 islands trip. Ship was ok, miserable staff and a miserable woman smoking a fag greeted us. Three islands were excellent.

Well organsied great day out
Sep 2019
We booked a three islands tour in the Tigaki office and found the staff really friendly. The price was good and the day proved to be fun and good value.
We got picked up from near our hotel and taken to the port. The ship was old but recently refurbished, with well padded seats. The tour was given in English, German and Polish, our English speaking guide Elizabeth was very friendly and as I am disabled made an extra effort to ensure that i and my partner were well supported.
Kalymnos was the first stop and we wandered around for 30mins (free time) before having a visit to the sponge factory. This was basically a shop with a lady giving a shrot talk on sponge harvesting and processing. Nevertheless interesting. The second island we disembarked to go on a nice sandy beach, which was nice and shallow for a fair way out.
After this we had lunch onboard, which was a pork skewer (Greek name escapes me) with some rice and salad. Probably worth taking snacks but the lunch was very tasty. Also make sure to raise any dietary requirements before the day.
On our way to the final island the captain stopped for us to view some Dolphins and upon arriving dropped anchor so that we could swim from the boat (or jump from both decks, if that was what we wanted).
We arrived back in Tigaki about 5pm, having left at 9am, very satisfied with the trip and thank you to Tigaki tours for a great day out.

Apart from our great day we were disappointed there wasn’t a Kos Island tour done in English by them, just German, but assume this decision was taken due to demand.

Tigaki Tours car rental
Sep 2019 • Couples
We paid 90 euros in advance for a car for 3 days for the 2nd week of our holiday. Having made our plans for using it we picked it up at 9:30 am only to then be told it had to be returned at 7:30 pm on the 3rd day, meaning we couldn’t use it in the evening when we had made arrangements which we then had to cancel. Had we known this we would have hired a car with another company, but having paid and with time short we had no choice but to go ahead. No one told us it would need to be returned at that time when we booked and the lady on the day we picked it up was quite flippant and said if we returned it in the morning she would have no one to clean the car, how is that our problem? Our advice, shop elsewhere for a better deal.

Tigaki tours car rental! Disaster!
Sep 2019 • Couples
We rented a car from Tigaki Tours in Tigaki beach with 3/4 filled fuel tank. We would return with the same amount. We used appr. 1/4 of the tank and needed to fil the same amount.
The car was an old model Hyundai i10.
When it was time to return the car back, we bought 20 euros (11 lt) of gas, but the gas gauge moved very little. We stopped in the next station and bought 5 lt more gas. The gauge didn’t move, stayed on 1/2.
We were surprised very much but we didn’t have time, we should catch our flight after returning the car so we came in the 3rd gas station. The station worker began to fill the tank, it stopped about 9 euros because the tank was full. The gauge was still showing 1/2 full.
No way out! We went to Tigaki Tours office, they told that there was a problem with the gas gauge of that car and they accepted the car back even gauge shows 1/2 full (formerly it is completely full). They all knew this.

I wanted 10 euros back (the cost of 1/4 of gas), they didn’t pay anything. They have told us that they didn’t have principle to pay gas cost back.
We didn’t fill the tank intentionally, it was just because they didn’t inform us even they knew gas gauge had a problem.
They are cheating their customers.
Don’t go Tigaki Tours for any kind of service.
