This place is absolutely a must. I loved it so much I had a photo pillow made for my husband and I of a photo here on our first date. Take the little hikes and explore the amazing views. Tips..you must get there early or there will be no parking or access during heavy season. No bathrooms or places to... More

The beach is great, waves are warm and relation is found. Bring a cooler with drinks/snacks and I would recommend a sunshelter as well (there is shade but there are also biting bugs and stickers I kept stepping on). This area is somewhat primitive...no amenities, rough road and little parking.

Not sure what I can add to what already has been said. Road is bad. Parking is scarce. Etc. Etc. But it truly was a beautiful place to spent our afternoon. So relaxing. Will come back in the future. On our way out caught the sunset at a restaurant a mile or so from the beach. Perfect before our drive... More

Keeps been the best beach the name is wrong the right name is Playuela Get early to get a good spot (9:00-10:00 am) You need to keep driving once past the light house gate, there is not too much parking in the area so another reason to get early or you will need to walk more with all the beach... The road to this beach could turn back the faint of heart. Passing the salt flats you can begin to see the Light House and feel the breeze coming off of the fabulous beach and know the bumps were worth it. Rolling waves and some shade trees will cool you after a hike on the cliffs.

We think this beach is as nice as Flamingo Beach. The road getting there is getting rough. There are no vendors there so take everything you need. Parking is limited so go early. The place fills up with locals on the weekends. There is a scenic lighthouse nearby and a very scenic coastline.

10 Minute drive from our Condo, isolated, yet accessible. Locals and a smattering of visitors from elsewhere, lots of trees to find shade, a local making mojitos on the beach, we were ensnared by its beauty. Great little hikes either side of the beach, the lighthouse framing everything so picturesquely. Highly recommended.

Getting to the beach requires patience because it's not off the highway, it's within some sort of national park. Once you're in there, parking isn't abundant but it's not a challenging walk. To get to the beach, you have to pass this mangrove (not hard) and then you're greeted to a cove. There aren't kiosks, hotel beach fronts... it's gorgeous... More

This beach is very pretty, the sand and the color of the water is spectacular. If you happen to catch it on a slow day it is even better. Great views of the lighthouse and the Caribbean Sea.
