We think this beach is as nice as Flamingo Beach. The road getting there is getting rough. There are no vendors there so take everything you need. Parking is limited so go early. The place fills up with locals on the weekends. There is a scenic lighthouse nearby and a very scenic coastline.

10 Minute drive from our Condo, isolated, yet accessible. Locals and a smattering of visitors from elsewhere, lots of trees to find shade, a local making mojitos on the beach, we were ensnared by its beauty. Great little hikes either side of the beach, the lighthouse framing everything so picturesquely. Highly recommended.

Getting to the beach requires patience because it's not off the highway, it's within some sort of national park. Once you're in there, parking isn't abundant but it's not a challenging walk. To get to the beach, you have to pass this mangrove (not hard) and then you're greeted to a cove. There aren't kiosks, hotel beach fronts... it's gorgeous... More

This beach is very pretty, the sand and the color of the water is spectacular. If you happen to catch it on a slow day it is even better. Great views of the lighthouse and the Caribbean Sea.

This location is extremely difficult to get to. The dirt road here is full of potholes-terrible! It is worth your patience to drive slow to get there. Once parked there is two ways to go. One is lighthouse second is beach. Both have amazing views. Keep in mind the walkway too either is very rugged. Can be a difficult walk... More

Locals rave about the natural beauty of Playa Sucia. They do so because Puertoricans favor natural landscapes untouched by human hands. In that respect, Playa Sucia is clearly a preferred locale. However, you should bring whatever you might need along with you (food & drink, shade, etc.) because there are no amenities anywhere nearby. To get here you will travel... More

This used to be a gem known only to locals because the road was so bad. Now the road has been improved and you can get pretty close to the beach. For the same reason I would not recommend that you visit it on a weekend during the summer months. Weekdays may be okay. Remember to bring food and drinks,... More

Beautiful beach on a natural preserve area. It is one of my favorite places on the island. You can see the light house and the cliffs and then you can swim in crystal clear water. The beach has beautiful white sand. The only bad thing is that there is no bathroom or changing area. It is in a very remote... More
