This beach is such a beautiful place in the world! In the midday you get to enjoy the sun and get to do some exploring and amaze at the rock formations, the cliffs and the lighthouse. During sunset you get to watch the sky turn into a color spectacle, the breeze feels good and you can't avert your eyes from... More

Playa Sucia is among our most favorite beaches in PR, located on a small bay by the south-western lighthouse of the Island. It is perfect the explore some wild life & walk along the ocean cliffs to finally enjoy the clear Caribbean Sea.

It is one of my favorite beach in western area. However, you have to go very early in the morning and bring everything, cause there is nothing to buy.

Playa Sucia is like a hidden treasure in Cabo Rojo. There is no bathrooms or restaurants so you have to bring food and drinks. I recommend you show up super early in the morning. We showed up at 8:30 am and we had to park very far and carry with everything. If you have heavy things, make sure it has... More

The beach is wonderful!! Salty, but beautiful. Couple tips: bring alcohol and food. There are not food or restrooms. You would have to go up to the lighthouse. I would bring water shoes...after 20ft in, it gets rocky...big rocks (not pebbles). There were lots of families but parking was horrendous. Get there early OR around a rain shower (2-3pm) people... I'm from PR, and took my partner here. We hiked to the Faro Los Morrillos first, visited the building and read a bit about its local history and about the salt flats. We took a couple of awesome pictures around the cliffs and finally took a dip at the STUNNING and beautiful Playa Sucia! Can't recommend enough!

Gorgeous azure beach with waves great for swimming. Parking is packed even on weekdays so expect a long walk to the beach, but definitely worth visiting!
