Beach and hike

A beautiful beach to visit. And a couple nice short hikes. One to lighthouse and one to rock outcropping. Been here several times.

Had been here before and was looking forward to returning as this is a must see beach. Found a spot on the edge of the trees so we could retreat if some shade was needed. My daughter brought some dry cat food to feed all the strays there. To our surprise the hermit crabs really love cat food too!! Took... More

All beaches in Puerto Rico are beautiful, but this one is pristine. It's right next to El Faro and has trails that lead to beautiful sights. Depending what time of year you go, there may be alot of seaweed.

Great place for beautiful photos for sunsets. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent. For walks bring safety shoes.

Playa Sucia is exactly at the bottom of Cabo Rojo's Lighthouse so you'll enjoy two exquisite places at once. Great beach to get early and spend a day in one of Puerto Rico's most beautiful beaches on the west coast.

I love this beach, is really beautiful with turquoise water, almost white sand and a beautiful view. You can walk to either sides of the beach and have an amazing view of the entire beach and the farol. Plus it has lots of spots with shadow. The only thing is you must bring food and drinks because there aren't any... More

We loved this beach~! Getting to it was quite an adventure just “a little” bumpy. There were many shaded areas to hang your things or even put a chair under. We stayed here for hours. Make sure to pack a cooler as there is really no convenient place nearby to up and leave to grab some water, beer, food, etc.... More

This beach could be right out of a movie. Rustic for sure, not a groomed beach resort. Parking is hard after noon. The light house is an easy walk--next time, I would park at the beach and walk up to the light house, although the lighthouse has its own parking lot. Bring a picnic lunch and water, but there's plenty... More

Lovely beach. Been coming here since a child, always visit El Faro, then to La playuela. That is the real name. Its not playa sucia. Its actually Bahia sucia. La playuela is confused by many as playa sucia, but its not.
