Playa Sucia is exactly at the bottom of Cabo Rojo's Lighthouse so you'll enjoy two exquisite places at once. Great beach to get early and spend a day in one of Puerto Rico's most beautiful beaches on the west coast.

I love this beach, is really beautiful with turquoise water, almost white sand and a beautiful view. You can walk to either sides of the beach and have an amazing view of the entire beach and the farol. Plus it has lots of spots with shadow. The only thing is you must bring food and drinks because there aren't any... More

We loved this beach~! Getting to it was quite an adventure just “a little” bumpy. There were many shaded areas to hang your things or even put a chair under. We stayed here for hours. Make sure to pack a cooler as there is really no convenient place nearby to up and leave to grab some water, beer, food, etc.... More

This beach could be right out of a movie. Rustic for sure, not a groomed beach resort. Parking is hard after noon. The light house is an easy walk--next time, I would park at the beach and walk up to the light house, although the lighthouse has its own parking lot. Bring a picnic lunch and water, but there's plenty... More

Lovely beach. Been coming here since a child, always visit El Faro, then to La playuela. That is the real name. Its not playa sucia. Its actually Bahia sucia. La playuela is confused by many as playa sucia, but its not.

One of the best beach in PR. Awesome views from light house. We spent whole day here. You need to get here early to get parking.

We have been visiting Playa Sucia for many years. Over the Christmas Holiday we enjoyed this paradise at the end of the road on three separate days. The dirt road used to be more manageable, but it has become a slow, difficult ride to reach the beach. Too many deep holes make it impossible to drive a straight line and... More

Don't let the name of this beach fool you because is not "sucia" but beautiful. Breathtaking views if you take the hike to the light house and look down to the beach. The area is a natural reserve and it's preserved by Department of natural resources of Puerto Rico so you can only be there until 445pm. Part of the... More

When we arrived after a not so easy 3 hrs drive on Dec 28, there were some guys in uniform blocking the road asking people to turn back saying the beach was full.. suddenly they decided to leave and then we parked the car along side 20 or more other cars on the side of the road and went to...
