Excellent place to learn how to dive. They trained all three of my children and are very friendly and helpful.

We had some really nice underwater experiences with Blue Marlin Dive. The staff is really professional and friendly. Great atmosphere to hang out in as well. Also suitable for children 10 years and upwards.

Listen. I'm a girl who is afraid of the open ocean and boats...so I decided to face my fear by learning how to Free Dive with Blue Marine's Free Dive Flow course. And to my surprise...I loved every second of it. El was my instructor. Day 1 was pool training where she made me feel so comfortable and confident. I held my breathe for 1.35 seconds on my first try. WHAT? #Relaxed. I was so hooked after our pool training that I couldn't wait to get in the open water the next day (I can't believe that I was excited). During day 2, every dive was done at my own pace. El was so patient and in control - that I could just relax and have FUN! I felt so safe, comfortable, and was fascinated by what my body could do. I love this place. If you're nervous about Free Diving, trust Blue Marine Dive. The instructors are so professional, qualified and fun. You're in good hands.

We were actually diving with another shop on Gili Air before but since in the other shop they had no big tanks (and on Gili you should dive as long as possible given the stunning underwater world), we walked into this one where I was offered a big tank (15 litre) without additional charge. In total we ended up doing three dives with their lovely guide Irlando, who spoke very good English and who made us feel completely safe throughout all dives. This was especially helpful and important since my girlfriend did her open water just the week before. The rental equipment was from Aqualung mainlly and in good shape. One day there was another guy coming with us so in maximum there were three divers with one divemaster. The divesites are all pretty close, I think the farthest we went was a 20 minute boat ride. As mentioned the underwaterworld around the Gili islands is just stunning. Besides the sheer endless number of turtles we also saw some reefsharks, octopusses, cuttlefishes and scorpion fishes. After the dives Irlando also took his time to help us fill out the logbooks properly and he also had great knowledge of the marine life. He even took some videos of us which he sent us afterwards. Thus we can certainly recommend this dive center.

My family (too 50yr olds and a 21 and 18yr old) took an introduction to scuba diving course today with Blue Marine on Gili Air, the most any of us had done previously was snorkel. Wow what an amazing experience, Morgan was an incredible teacher, showing great patience, kindness and a natural understanding... You just felt you could trust her and had great belief from the off (she had a comforting demeanor even when under water... Which is some achievement)! We saw so many fish up close (including little nemos), but the pinacle was going to a spot where large green sea turtles just lay on the sea bed being cleaned by other fish! Incredible experience, great company and amazing instructor... Can't recommend them enough!!! Thank you again for a brilliant day!
