I went for a 1 week holiday to do my open water course, Greg was my instructor and he showed me a whole new world in the ocean. I love it that much that I went straight in to my advanced. That was it, i was hooked! 1 week turned in to 3 years, full dive master training and levelled all the way up to Instructor! Greg and Annie are fricken awesome! Best shop in the Gilis

Where do I start, in the Netherlands I get my Padi Open Water at the age of 13 and after 2 years of diving in the Netherlands with my father, we traveled in 2018 to Indonesia for our first diving holiday. Despite the age of 15, I felt immediately welcome and taken seriously at Next Level Scuba (then GDOA). After a few fun dives, my parents gave me the opportunity to get my advanced, the atmosphere and hospitality of this diving school was great that I obtained my Rescue certificate the following year. In 2 years I hope to get to Dive Master Course at Next Level Scuba. In summary: together with my father I have made so many beautiful dives around the Gili's with always professional dive masters and therefore I can highly recommend Next Level Scuba for your dives. I visited Next Level Scuba on Gili Air in March this year for my Open Water and Advance Open Water courses. Really cool place! The dive shop is super fresh and neat. Excellent diving equipment. I got a warm welcome from the NLS staff and started the course the same day. Everything felt very professional with a laid back vibe. Next Level Scuba and the dive sites around Gili Air made my stay fantastic. Can not recommend this place enough. I will definitely go back as soon as possible. Thank you Annie, Greg and Next Level Scuba!! 👌🏻

I completed my open water certificate and could not wait to come back and become an advanced diver! The staff at this small and very personable dive centre are so friendly and welcoming and most importantly extremely experienced and boast knowledge in abundance!! From theory to equipment assembly, to that first breath under water, they look after you along every step and make this journey unforgettable! When you visit Gili Air, book your diving with Next Level Scuba and have the time of your life in the underwater world!

I've been to Gili Air twice now, both times with parents tagging along. Our first time to the island, we ended up staying at a guesthouse right next to 'Next Level Scuba', which completely turned out to our luck. I value a lot seeing my folks being taken cared of when I'm traveling with them, from my non-diving dad who was allowed snorkling from the boat, to my diving mom getting so much attention, care and help as not to lift heavy equipment, the gear was always assembled when we arrived for the briefings - to the logbook sessions after the dives, sitting and writing in the data and sights of new marine life. The equipment is spotless, and tanks are always nicely filled - the briefings was always nice, clear and relaxed for the fun dives we did. The diving itself is spectacular, only time it's phased up a bit, is when it's forced by currents. Otherwise they're fun, relaxed and really interesting for all levels in diving. The crew is a blast to hang out with after the dives, chatting and sharing good stories on the couches makes you feel like a small part of the shop-family during your stay on Gili Air - specially their fluffy cats are welcoming you! :D There's always smiles, waves and hugs here, which is the reason why I'm aiming to be visiting this little gem a 3rd time, 4th time.... 5th time? Can't wait to be back!
