Gili Island Snorkeling Private Day Trip

20 reviews
Visit the Gili Islands on a guided day trip from Lombok and see why this white-sand paradise is so highly recommended. You’ll stop at all three islets in the archipelago off Lombok’s northwest coast and have the opportunity to snorkel in turquoise seas. Transfer by boat from Nipah Bay to Gili Trawangan, with free time to explore or relax. Then continue on to Gili Meno to snorkel above a coral reef and wreck site, with a final snorkeling stop at Gili Air.

I usually don't mind a mosque and their call to prayer...but here it seems to go on and on, whole sermons being broadcast, it's deafening noise... probably as a counter measure to all the equally noisy bars haha

So the tour is just like any other tour when you get taken out thrown in the water you snorkel for a little bit move on do it again. Total of 30 minutes snorkeling in the whole trip. Still nice to see the underwater world, only saw 2 turtles, and when you stop over at the island gilli Air they take you to a restaurant where I suggest You DO NOT EAT at. The food is really not of quality! Would not trust the hygiene of fish or meat. My partner and I looked at each other once we bit into the chicken! Something was not right! Didn’t taste right! Day after the tour he woke up vomiting! My noodles also tasted stale af!

A beautiful building to look at, but not a tourist attraction. We passed this on a walk around the island. It's a shame to hear all of the negative reviews on here because it's "too loud". One of the biggest religions in Indonesia is Islam and this is a place of worship for the local Muslim people here. People need to remember that if you are a visiting tourist then you should be respectful of the local culture, it is not an inconvenience to your holiday! The biggest noise problem is the loud music blasting from every single pub/bar/hotel on the Island all day long, not the call to prayer.

While it is a beautiful building and I quite like the sound of the call to prayer (when I'm not asleep), waking everyone on the island up at 5AM with such a loud noise is outrageous. Should not be allowed to happen.

Probably, the mosque is the oldest building in this island.it is affected by the last summer earthquake and still under construction some part of it, please help them by donating as much as you can while you are there. People are great, kind, hospitable, helpful and respectful. They deserve your help..
