The beach is lovely, plenty of beds and umbrellas but at the same time now crowded. There are water sports available at either end of the beach.

The beach is near our apartment in Agios Georgios, we reached it on foot and we watched the sunset all together. The beach is half sandy and rocks. I recommend to bring with you the shoes for the rocks to feel more comfortable while entering in the sea.

We visited Agios Georgios (North) in August 2021, and it was lovely. It is roughly 1h away from the airport. The beach is quite long and combination of restaurant driven umbrellas and free beach. Sunbed sets are between 6-10 euros depending on the place, which is decent
The weather was a bit windy at the end of august but still warm. The beach is combination of sand and pebbles and good spots are around the middle of the beach, where there is less pebbles and no rocks in the water. Water itself is very clear however it goes neck deep after only few meters. There are some basic water sports available and also boat taxi to Porto Timoni beach. There are 3-4 supermarkets behind the beach, where you can find everything you need. Best place for dining( in my opinion) is restaurant called Delfini which is a bit better then regular Tavernas around. Overall Agios Georgios is great place for relaxing without a lot of crowd and noise. I would say it is ideal for families with bigger children or people looking for the quiet holidays. (For families with small children i would recommend going on the south of the island since the water is warmer and not so deep)

First of all, you need to know that there are two places called Agios Georgios on the west coast of Corfu - one in the north of the island, and one in the south. This has obviously confused a good number of travellers as the reviews under this heading and photos relate to both areas, all mixed together!

I will review Agios Georgios SOUTH - about an hour away from Corfu Town, and about an hour away from Aqualand (by car/coach). The town is tiny, and is one strip along the beach, consisting of mainly a handful of supermarkets, bars, tavernas and travel agents. It is not worth a visit in its own right.

The beach is a long strip of golden sand, with a gentle slope to clear and warm water. There are plenty of water sports available- parasailing, banana boats, giant sofa, even the hoverboard on a tube thing. My children bought a Do-it-all ticket for 60 Euros and did parasailing, a boat ride, the giant sofa, and a RingGo. Excellent value and really well organised by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Further along the beach, you can hire 2 sun beds and an umbrella for 8 Euros per day. There is an inflatable aqua park in the sea here, which is excellent value at 10 Euros per person all day, go away and come back as often as you like. There’s a beach snack bar here too. We came up a couple of times for a change from our all inclusive.

We hired a car via Akvila Travel Agents in the village, and we’re really glad to drive the 15 minutes over to the east coast where the character is completely different and you can see the mountains on the Greek mainland. Also, it’s only 15 minutes to the fab hilltop restaurant Archontiko. Cabs are expensive, so definitely consider hiring a car (we paid 85 Euros per day for an Astra).

Although it’s quite far away from Corfu Town, we did go a couple of times, and we also did the drive to Aqualand and Paleokastrista.

We walked the whole length of this lovely beach. Few nudist guys at far end. Water shallow and clean and very safe.

We went there with two scooters for a couple hours. The beach is really nice, crystal clear water. Even if the cost of the food seems to be above average, they are delicious, worth to have them.
If you want to keep your budget a local supermarket is next to the restaurants.

The surroundings are really nice, the beach is really worth to visit.

This beach community has beautiful beaches with loads of lounge chairs and umbrellas open to all who are willing to purchase food and or beverages from the restaurants. Abundance of restaurants, night life and hotels/apartments.

Nice beach. Shallow water, easy to enter. Sandy with lot of sunbeds and umbrellas. Some free if you eat or drink in the restaurant that belongs, some payable.

really liked this beach and its setting flanked by two massive headlands. Though the sea here is rather refreshing !!! because of its setting. definitely worth a visit

The food served here was not good. The place is deserted and no body could be seen. Really good beach.
