It's worth going early in the day before the crowds and tour groups arrive. The winding streets have great charm and the views of the harbour and coastline from the fortress walls and cathedral precinct are stunning. But it's the old town itself which stars...More

The service was good as was the food. Prices typical for this part of town. BUT tables are about 10cm apart. You have no choice but to be friendly which maybe isn't such a bad thing but I'm beginning to think I'm the only person...More

fantastic history with plenty of information boards as you ascend . Take your time as it can be tiring . Wear sensible shoes as one of our party had leather soles and the cobbles took their toll as they are slippy . You will struggle...More

Admittedly it was mid- September and the hottest part of the day, but we had this time capsule to ourselves. So interesting, unbelievably thick walls, bastions offering fantastic views with updates on revolving boards, so much explore (sadly cathedral was closed), wonderful views over Eivessa...More

Took the local bus from Santa Eulia to The city if Ibiza. (only 2 euro) What a sight, should not be missed. First the port and marina are beautiful, followed by a walk, uphill to the old town and Cathedral, but well worth the effort....More

It's worth a visit even though it's all up hill, I did struggle a bit but I took my time and the view at the top was well worth it.

Beautiful little town! We visited the castle and found lots of small bars and shops owned by the locals around the area ! The views across are so beautiful and the town had lots of cute restaurants and bars! Worth a visit!

As most reviewers noted there are quite a bit of steps throughout this area, but if you just go at your own pace you won't be disappointed. It's free and just a wonderful way to start your day.

Go early in the day wearing good shoes, plus the usual garb, and it's a good idea to take a small bottle of water. Then with a map walk over the drawbridge into the walled city. There are Museums, a Cathedral. And a Church. The...More

A great surprise! I enjoyed it better than the harbour! The spirit of the place comes from that ancien feeling of the 16th century. Walking up to the fort and enjoying the view at sunset is a nice thing to do. The view is nice...More

It depends where you're dropped off, but there are a lot of places to stop for a rest. If you go early in the morning when it's cooler, that helps. We walked about three miles in total around the whole area, and we went very... More

You can take a taxi up to the entrance but as far as I know there is no way to get to the top in another way than by foot.

You can walk or take the bus! It's easy to look for the solution when you are there as now it's hard to say where the ship will stop.
