An amazing day out. Hermes offers a number of different sailing destinations. The crew are a long-standing Greek family with many years experience at sea. The Captain clearly knew the waters and we felt very safe.we hoped to see dolphins but didn’t on that trip. However the scenery was amazing, especially the blue caves and the stop for a swim to a secluded cove. All in all a wonderful day out. Thank you captain and your crew. Well worth the euros!

Hermes cruises is a great family crew. Guys who know what they do and love what they do. Kosta is an experienced captain who knows the sea and the whole coast and surrounding islands very well. I went with them to Ithaca last summer. It was a wonderful day. For a moment we were in the mythical home of the Ithaca king of Odyssey. During a stop in the capital city of Vathy, we visited the local archaeological museum. We swam in the magical coves of Ithaca. The sea is azure blue and clear. And then we enjoyed a traditional Greek lunch in a tavern in the picturesque village of Kioni. It was a great diversification of our holiday in Cephalonia. That's why Hermes cruises and I went to Fiscardo this summer. We were excited about the trip. During the voyage we spotted dolphins. In Fiscardo, the atmosphere of ancient times breathed on us, because only here the original houses, which used to stand all over the island, have been preserved. It was very nice to go through the whole place where the past was connected with modern life. On the way back we stopped in the village of Karavomylos and there we visited the beautiful lake cave Melissani, one of the geological wonders of the island. Finally, we enjoyed swimming at the beach Koutsoupia, which is accessible only from the sea. And even though the sun didn't shine, we enjoyed the day to the maximum. Both cruises with Hermes cruises can be highly recommended and with my family I look forward to another year, when we plan to go on a boat trip to Zakynthos. Pavla

Wonderful service from start to finish by the fantastic captain Costas to the beautiful island of Ithaca. Lovely stop-offs including the capital Vathy, Kioni for lunch and a pristine beach with perfectly clear waters for a swim.

Zakynthos cruise. They forgot to pick us up at 0830 from Skala, and only came to get us because we rang them at 0840. They sent a tiny car and drove it far too fast to get us to Poros for 0900. The late boarding meant we had to cram and shuffle into a gap on the seating for the 90 min journey to the shipwreck beach. It's amazing, but far too busy, noisy and full of impromptu photoshoots at the end of the beach (which is the only place) where you can bathe without fear of a boat hitting you. Blue caves were cool. You don't swim/disembark. They just do some impressive backing the boat into one of the big caves. Everyone stares through their phone screens and jostle for position. Then it's off to the fishing village (photo). You stop here for 2 hours. It's nice again, but nothing you cannot find on Kefalonia tbh. Then it's 90 mins back to Poros. Sat on the bottom deck this time. Much better but incredibly noisy due to the engine. No interaction or commentary beyond a few announcements. So much time spent in transit. Will keep the car for an extra day and get the ferry over next time tbh.

Terrific day sailing around Ithaca with the team at Hermes. Friendly and informative crew who made the trip fun and relaxed. Left Poros bound for Vathy, a picturesque harbour town. Then Kioni for lunch and a swim stop later... the MC from Scotland was very funny! Left Poros at 9am and was back just before 4pm. Ideal timings for me!
