This small but very complete museum is easily accessible and a fairly short visit. It's worth the drive over to Vierville from Colleville, for example, and is especially good for families with children because of the types of items displayed, very balanced with memoribilia from both sides of the conflict, and tangible for children who may be elementary-aged, just discovering D-Day, and have maybe seen Colleville or Pointe du Hoc.

Visiting the Omaha beach site and museum is a must if you are visiting the Normandy beaches. This is a reminder about what happened and a salute for those who fought on these beaches.

A large quonset hut type building crammed with hundreds of relics from D-Day and the Normandy battles, including vehicles, weapons, uniforms and more, with limited descriptions, gathered by one man and left in the care of his sons. It will be of interest to a certain type of enthusiast, but it is far from the best of the D-Day landing museums.

Cordialement.

It's good that is a privately owned museum but really it needs more space and more explanation given on items shown ,to give them all justice

Bien cordialement.
