Absolutely blown away!!
A family run farm which produces wine and olive oil. We booked a visit with our two young children and they were very accommodating, making sure the children weren't excluded by offering home made juices and sweets while my wife and I had a tour of the winery and the history of the local grape explained... Which was extremely interesting.
The quality of the food was outstanding... Homemade tapenades, breads, anchovies, prosciutto, figs and cheeses. Accompanied by several glasses of local wines each. All for €54 in total!!!.
The couple that run this agritourismo are amazing.
Best thing we did on Solta!!

Friendly welcome
The problem is that this winemaker confused merchant and commercial
317€ wines/olive oil ...
95€ for tasting (2 adults 3 teenagers)
What a tasting!!! 2 bowls of olive oil with bread, 2 tapenades and qq olives all tasted with a glass of rosé, white and red.... It feels like RAYAS (but it’s another quality!)

This place is absolutely worth a visit. We had a small private tour, tasted four glasses of very nice wine with bread, olive oil, olives and anchovies. All at a very reasonable prize. We came with two children (aged 5 and 9 years) and although they didn’t understand the language nor had wine, they still enjoyed the food - and atmosphere - at this wonderful place

Went with a group of 5.
Tasted some great wines with a really interesting tour of the production process.
A great selection of food provided - 2 olives oils (1 award winning). 4 different wine - all amazingly tasty. Plus anchovies, cheese, bread, cured meat, olives and tampenade!

Very accomodating and friendly. Plus the option to buy some wine to take home!

Also, cute dog!

We were warmly welcomed with a selection of liqueurs and then taken on a most interesting cellar tour learning about the origins of Zinfandel wine. After that we enjoyed the wine tasting which was accompanied by a selection of tasty homemade appetizers : olives, delicious olive tapenades, salted sardine fillets, and a tasting of 2 olive oils - all this accompanied by a generous amount of bread. All in all it was a wonderful experience but at 200kn a bit pricey for people who do not enjoy a strong currency.

The girl who welcomed us speaks an excellent english. She will for sure explain you the very best of her family tradition in winery.
Wine (a rosè and a red) are tasty and not too heavy. Oils (both local and one made with a quality olive tree that cannot be found else where) are really juicy.
We asked for wine and oil taste (they being you two small bowls with bread and a glass of wine) and we finished to buy both wines, a bottle of oil and olives.
Really recommended, if you book in advance you can also eat there. We will for sure try it next time. Location is totally perfect and really well designed.
Super kind and local.

We visited twice on our stay in Solta. the first time was to find it and see what sort of place it was - the owners made us really welcome. 7 of us arrived together and they brought us bread and olives, olive oil and tapenades - plenty of it and all for free! then brought out their own rose and red wines for us to taste - again all for free and very generous samples. We were very impressed - the olives, oil and tapenade were superb and the wines really good. the owner was very interesting and informative about the history of the vines and how everything is made.

Having seen other trip adviser reviews we knew they did 'degustation' meals, so we enquired and booked to go back. They do a 3 course meal with grilled fish (150Kuna/person) or lamb (180 Kuna/person). we chose the fish and had a superb evening - again a shot of home flavoured Grappa to start, then bread & olives with rose wine, then superb grilled gold mullet with salad and potatoes, accompanied by red wine (plenty of it) - then a final course of orange gateaux.

This really is a superb evening - if you get a chance it's definitely worth it!

we retuned later in the week for produce to bring home.

THANKS for a great visit
