This was our first cooking class and we didn’t know what to expect being a family of five from the USA. We have two boys ages 11 and 8 and a five year old daughter. So we were a little nervous. Would the kids get bored? Would our current cooking skills be enough to follow along? Would the chef’s English be good enough to understand? Chef Marco did a great job putting us at ease and explaining the process In a way that was not intimidating. Two days before he contacted us to make a menu that suited us. We chose three items from 10-12 that he was suggesting so it felt tailored to us. We chose ravioli with spinach ricotta, swordfish, and a chocolate spoon dessert. When we arrived at his house in the forest he gave us a quick tour and we had a coffee to get to know each other. Next he brought out five aprons and we started making the dough. At this point we were completely relaxed and having a great time kneading dough. The whole experience lasted around five hours which at first I thought would be too long for the children but it went fast and they were never bored. We highly recommend and would consider doing this in a larger family group with grandparents as well. Thanks for a great time Chef Marco.

Marco gave me and my whole family a great Italian cooking experience which lasted the whole evening. He came to the house we rented with our family in Lago Maggiore. He brought all of his kitchen gear with him, plus the ingredients for the food we were going to prepare. He organized the menu we were going to prepare and was open for other suggestions. Besides that, he was a very nice and was very helpful. He helped with cleaning as well the end of the night, even though that wasn’t necessary at all! Thanks again Marco for the nice night!!

My wife and I spent an amazing day learning classic Italian cooking from Marco. We made homemade Pasta, Involtini and Tiramisa, and we all sat down and had a great meal together with everything we created. It’s hosted at his home up in the hills, and made for a really personal cooking experience. We’d highly recommend it!

The experience consists of several stages You reach a house in the heart of a nature reserve, in the rain, around you trees in the woods and nature You go into a well-kept home, into a warm and cozy kitchen and cook fine ingredients for four hours, you cook a wonderful meal, as you agreed with the chef Then sit down to eat in a wonderful atmosphere, with good wine and a window to the view. Chef Bosco is very kind, welcoming, my family and I had a great day.

We spent a few days in Stresa and we decided on Marco's cooking class because we love nature. It was only 20 minutes by train and Marco was there to pick us up outside of the train station! We loved his beautiful home in the woods. We felt so welcome with a special coffee and we jumped into preparing the menu that we decided before the class. We chatted a lot about Italian food and we learned how to prepare our favorite dish: Lasagna, and also involtini and bonet. The meal was amazing and we were really in the woods, What an super cool experience! Thank you Marco for your warm hospitality! We plan to make the lasanga and surprise our friends! I highly recommend Marco's cooking class if you're in the Lake Maggiore area.
