LAKE COMO BIKE TOUR Colico/Domaso

1 review
A unique Bike Tour in a wonderful landscape, in a beautiful area where every corner is a surprise. We ride on the bicycle lane along the ADDA RIVER,from COLICO to the ADDA BRIDGE, surrounded by the view of Valtellina and Valchiavenna. We reach the NATURAL RESERVE of PIAN di SPAGNA, very important crossroad for various kinds of birds that normally lives in humid areas. After crossing the Mera bridge we are in SORICO, a small tipical village on lake Como. From here starts a beautiful bike path that runs along the lake side and reaches DOMASO, awesome destination of our amazing Bike Tour.<br>In DOMASO attend us a delicious coffee break in a tipical italian bar located directly on the lake side, looking the Monte Legnoncino, Colico and Piona Bay in front of us.

Lot of choice both for aging or to drink now. Prices may not be so great. Check prices online before buying.

Easy and open way to purchase fairly priced gourmet wine & spirits from the local area and abroad. We were tipped off to this place by a waiter in Varenna. He told us to avoid the touristy wine and cheese boutiques if we were going to buy cases of wine for our trip home. We did not do a tasting or lesson because we did not want to consume wine prior to a long drive but the facilities looked wonderful! It is off the beaten tourist path in a industrial park but easy to drive to with more than ample parking.
