Beautiful family-run renovated winery located on the hills of Padenghe. Recently renovated. Great breakfast buffet. We stayed one Wednesday night in June and a pity we couldn’t have dinner in the promising restaurant, because it only opens on Wednesdays as from July. Beautiful pool and garden. Staff was very helpful.
Couple of things though: in the evening, we wanted to reserve a taxi for the next day but the reception desk was deserted. Internet was no help because of poor coverage in the room and around the hotel. In general 4G coverage is poor in the region. No staff telephone directory on the room phone. And the airco did not work. Standard rooms are clean but very basic and not very beautifully decorated. They are nevertheless relatively pricey for what they have to offer.
