Most great things happen when you meet the right person at the right time. I booked a private Winterfell tour for one of my sons birthday and because we're all great fans (well I wouldn't say that about my wife..) during our week trip to Ireland. We took the road from Dunshaughlin to Newcastle and then we met ser William... More

I don't usually write reviews but if I'd had a bit more of a heads up before I booked the High Tea Safari, I probably would've booked a cheaper one (e.g. Seal Pup Special) as I don't feel I got my money's worth (£35) for the High Tea Safari. We started off by boarding the boat at the pier; there... More

Sorry our boat trip on Strangford Lough did not meet your expectations, it was one of those trips where a number of factors worked against us - it rained during the trip and also rained when we stopped for refreshments (which made it uncomfortable), and the rain also stopped us getting to the lighthouse island and reduced our likelihood of... I went on the sea safari with a group of family and friends. It was great fun. The guide was very good. And the thrills and spills were good enough for excited small boys without terrifying them. Watch out for the moving turbine.

We stayed in one of the glamping pods at Castle Ward and in our package we had two activities. The first was bike rental which we had from 4pm on Saturday until 10am on Sunday. This allowed us to explore the stunning grounds of Castle Ward after close. On the Sunday we had a private archery session in the area... More

I found full moon kayaking with Clearsky Adventure on Discover Northern Ireland's website and decided to book it for our trip this past April. Despite feeling like a stuffed sausage in the wetsuit and going through three kayaks before figuring out one that worked for me, this was a highlight of my trip. The staff were great and graciously handled... More

A brilliant way to spend an hour, the miserable weather added to the atmosphere of 'Winterfell'. Costumes were very comfortable and warm on a cold afternoon. Johnny was a great coach and very informative. Want to go again!

William was a fantastic & hospitable guide through the set of Game of Thrones. By far one of the best parts of our honeymoon to Ireland!

Amazing few hours at this National Trust site learning a few background facts about the show, dressing up as the Starks then a great wee tournament of archery including using a long bow and then a self cycle around some of the show locations. We did this as a private tour well worth the money met a lovely guy named... More

I took two teenagers to Castle Ward (Winterfell in Game of Thrones) for archery. The Centre Manager was welcoming and very friendly. While we were waiting (we arrived early), he showed us a video on how the set for Game of Thrones was done with CAD graphics. This was very interesting to see how the grounds are used and graphically "enhanced".... More

So in the same courtyard as Winterfell Tours is a small company called Clearsky Adventures. They are amazing. (It took me a while in my back and forth emails with Emma to realize that I was working with the same person for both programs, but hey, what can I say. Emma was great, and very patient.) Clearsky offers all sorts... More
