Love a climb any day
Feb 2017 • Couples
Those who, have climbed up,and those who, have opted for, other possible views such as the walk/hike behind the Hills would probably concur that the view does not always depend on Elevation. Having done the tramp about the Hills, the climb or walk up, plus the careful ascent uo,the two cols to their summit. I am in agreement. In any event the 7 colors revealed here are truly a Wonder of Pachamama, Mother Nature.

After 6pm, no need to pay 3 pesos!
Aug 2015 • Couples
I arrived Purmamarca after 17:30 and I guess we climbed up the viewpoint around 18 o'clock! Still there was sign of 3 pesos but there was no one. Also the guy who sold souvenir told us that we could enter for free :)
It was greet view of the town and seven coloured mountain!

I wasn't sure what this was until I saw the comment about 3 pesos
Dec 2014 • Family
Most unnecessary 3 pesos ever. I paid to go up in the afternoon but when I went back in the morning no one was there charging money and people were just going up freely.

View here is not great in my opinion. Or more like, the view is gorgeous everywhere so you don't need to go here to see it. The hike is not impossible, but it is high and there are no railings with tons of loose rocks and sand on the path, so I saw several people turn back.

It costs 3 pesos to go up, but it's definitely worth it!
It's not too high, so it's pretty easy to climb! We saw people of all ages going up and taking amazing pictures of the colorful mountains!

at the start or end of colorados walk depending how you do it. there is a lady selling some tourist trinkets at the entrance area. we started a grave yard so was at the end of our walk.
