Do not make the mistake of trying to drive through this medieval town! The streets are very narrow, it better to walk to the ruins of the castle above. It is very pretty, with very narrow streets and very few tourists.

This medieval town is very similar to the village of St Paul de Venice in France, which is totally packed all year round. In contrast, there are very few people around in Ourem. Lovely place to potter around and outstanding views!
