Stresa is a wonderful resort with Isola dei Pescatori, Isola Madre Isola Bella and Isola Superiore amongst the attractions which can be visited by a cruise from the Imbarcadero.

We stopped off for lunch using the hop on hop off ferry. It was nice to see the village beneath the tourist shops and restaurants. Had an excellent lunch at Trattoria Embarcardo.
