Stopped off at Caldas da Rainha luckily found a parking space for the camper close to the large park in the centre. Lovely area, very picturesque with lake and walks. Visited the Art Museum of Jose Malhoa, beautiful paintings and sculptures, very interesting. We then visited the Ceramics Museum again fantastic works and some beautiful pieces. Well worth a visit.

We were on our first visit to this small town. Having been to the open-air market - very well advertised as being open every morning; we went into the Tourist Office, and "Jorge" who spoke English, was extremely helpful; showing us where we should go, and even recommending a superb restaurant for lunch. He made our day!

Acabou a sardinhada não faço mais um c. The dishes are broken, Dom Carlos orders the people to be cut off and everyone is drunk with mineral waters eating sweets according to Rembrandt.

Very friendly staff who provided additional information to the standard maps that are available at all tourist offices in Portugal. Office just off the main open market place. Nice seating are outside.
