Our tour guide, Luca, was amazing! Although there was an itinerary, he gave us the ability to change things - spend more time on one excursion vs another. He was very knowledgeable of the region and geophysics - it was a great balance of information and answering our questions. I highly recccomend!

This was an amazing experience. Although I travelled solo, I took this excursion with two other people who were staying at the same accommodation.
We were picked up by our guide, Alfio, who was very welcoming and friendly. During the whole trip he explained us so much and told us a lot about not only Mount Etna but as well Sicily’s history. I could have spent several days with him and not get bored.
We went to see several places (cave, lava flow of 2002, the skistation, Mt Satorius,...) with the help of the great driving skills of our guide in the 4x4.
Very professional, very friendly, just a great experience in every way!
Thank you Alfio!

Yesterday we went together with Alfio and our family on a trip to Mt Etna. What a perfect day! Off road to places one normally won’t get. Views that were magnificent, impactfull and respectfull. Alfio showed us everything and answered all our questions on the vulcano, on flora on the wildlife but also on Sicily. We have done quite some guided tours in our lives but Alfio can be ranked in the top 3 if not number 1.

I would strongly suggest this guided tour with Francesco. Both myself and my wife were guided
by Francesco. He is very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic to show every aspect of mt. etna.
Our tour guide was brilliant with his fluency in english and ensured that we had a great time. Both myself and my wife were on our honeymoon at the time and this guided tour of mt. etna with Francesco was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. We were very fortunate that day that a 2nd crator erupted for the first time ever and to have seen Mt, etna erupting. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB EXPERIENCE WITH A SUPERB AND FRIENDLY TOUR GUIDE....... Most recommended !!, paul and orla from Dublin , ireland ( visited in Oct, 2013 )

This isn’t the cheapest way to see Etna – but it is quite the best. We spent the day travelling in the luxury of a new Range Rover across terrain that just couldn’t be accessed by any other form of transport. Our guide and driver was local, friendly and knowledgeable. The guided walk up some of the many extinct cones was exhilarating and the views were spectacular. The lunchtime stop at a restaurant that was once a farmhouse provided a good sample tasting of Sicilian food. The afternoon visit to the Gorge was strictly for the adventurous at the first brief point of call – but the second stop could even be accessed by an elevator.

We went on a half day trip in a Land Rover to Etna in May 2012 with Etnalcantara and it was a superb experience .Our guide Alfio - probably not spelt correctly! - was very informative , helpful and a very good companion for our visit . We were able to experience walking on lava , snow and the mountain generally in excellent weather with fantastic views and Alfio comprehensively explained the topography, history ,the elements of volcanos etc with a 3 hour walking trip to key areas at a pace to suit all skills.
We both would want to recommend the company, the trip and the overalll experience very highly and were complertely satisfied with this unique experience. We were picked up from and taken back to our B and B in Linguaglossa and made to feel very welcome .
Do it if you have the opportunity !!!

We booked a day trip with Francesco to see Mount Etna and have lunch at a local vineyard with wine tasting. The day was superb with Francesco being a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. My wife and I, along with our 3 sons (19, 16 and 15) thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend this.

I'v been to Castiglione. I was in my town in 2005. I was led by a person by the name of Carmelo. I don't remember his last name. I met him in the gas station on the way to stay in the town called Lingualosa I don't know if thats the correct spelling. He said follow me to Castiglione I'm sure somebody would let you stay in his house since you were born in the town. Well lo and behold there was a man who had an empty row house he let us stay at. He also ran a coffee shop and resturant. So I stayed for a whole week. The owner took me to Mt. Etna. The people of the town were very frendly to me. By my Gods luck I meet my cousen who was visting with his family from Austrilia who I now comunicate by e-mail.

This was and absolutely amazing tour and the main reason for this was our brilliant guide Giacomo.
He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Etna and volcanic activities. He was attentive to our needs, very good at English, humorous, friendly and smart. He was everything you needed to make the 7 hours both comfortable, interesting and fun. Thank you for a great tour Giacomo.

We had the most fantastic tour yesterday 21-8/19 with the best guide ever (Giacomo Strazzeri) from this company
Giacomo knowledge and passion for his subject was infectious. You will learn and experience the gas Itai game history, geology , and changing faces of this marvel.
Make sure you visit the ice caves (Grotto dei Ladeoni)
We were fortunate to spend a few hours trekking on top of the lava flows from 1865 and 2002 and witness the lava bombs and fake gold and silver.
The scenery is truly incredible and a bucket list experience for everyone . The wine farm at Murgo perfect way to finish things off - but leave specs for the 4 courses and bubbly
Giacomo - you a star and we hope to return
