OK, this beach is beautiful - there are no arguments against it. The scenery is good enough to become a wallpaper even of your camera is not that great. But it's not flawless. Let me start with the positives. Except for actual beach being nice...More
This is our favourite beach in the area. The sand is pure soft sand and the sea shelves very gradually making it ideal for young children. If you use the right side of the rocks (by the pedallos) the sea is much clearer. You can...More
This is a great little beach. The sea stays shallow for about 50 meters out and is perfectly clear. There is a shower for when leaving and two nice restaurants situated on the front. There is also a ramp down to the beach if needed...More

our first time to la fosca beach was 50 years ago so when we found ourselves back in palamos it was a must do the place is still the same apart from the restaurant on the beach ideal bathing beach and warmer than palamos beach
We enjoyed the late season sunshine, the lovely surroundings and plenty of room on the beach. Parking is not that easy, but we found a space reasonably close. Chairs and umbrella were 15 Euros, situated near the Hostal la Fosca, which was good for lunch.

Thank you for a quick reply. But if we live in Llafranc and do the hiking to Aiguablava. Is it possible to take a bus back to Llafranc from there? We were told that was a nice walk. We are thinking of travelling in September next year. Also; how about transport from Barcelona Airport to either Llafranc / Palafrugell?
