Very nice place and nice views.
We took a lot of pictures and the road there is also fun with 100 turns. While walking down, you cannot pass each other and you have to be careful where you put your foot. When we walked down there were many people who regularly take pictures along the way so you have to stop regularly.
If you go to stolowe national park you should not suggest a forest walk because there are mainly rocks and steps. It's really worth it.

The mountains called us away from the main Polish tourist sights and the Stołowe Mountains have not disappointed. With the labyrinth at Błednę Skały to the incredible Szczeliniec Mały plateau, this area is breathtaking. The attractions are all 10PLN per person and car parking 20PLN. Błednę Skały is accessible by a single track road that has a controlled entry allowing cars to travel up and back in 30 minute slots. It's all very well organised. We travelled up in our 7.5m motorhome and the road is a bit bumpy although very doable at 15mph. The road takes 10 minutes to travel. Well worth the trip although it is a challenging at time hike through the rocks so difficult for anyone with walking difficulties or very young children. Some of the gaps you have to squeeze through are very tight. Szczelinliec Mały is breathtaking and not what you expect. There's plenty of parking in Karlow and there is a tough hike up to the plateau where you climb over 600 steps to reach the top. There are restaurants there and wonderful views so if you don't want to pay 10PLN per person you can turn around and go back down. Although you will miss a treat. The rock formations and diversity of the landscape is outstanding and is a must in our book.

There are several trails worth walking in the park. but if you have to choose one, I recommend the trail on Szczeliniec Wielki mountain (900 m above sea lvl) just north of Karlow village. In good weather plan to spend about 2-3 lovely hours of climbing some stairs and enjoying the views.
This beautiful hiking trail is in my opinion best visited in a summer evening after 1900 hrs when there will be less others to block the views (kiosks by the foot of the hill will be closed in 2200 hrs). In about 15 minutes walking up the steep stairs along rocky hillside you'll suddenly come across a surprise pub terrace with great views and good selection of beers to enjoy there. How did they get all the building materials up?
Further the trail is for a small fee and it goes over the wooded plateau on top of the hill. It takes you through a natural labyrinth of picturesque formations and lovely crevices aptly named. Devil's Kitchen for example is my favourite.
The trail ends on the corner of the plateau with galleries looking south and east.

Nice place to visit. Not far from the border from Czech Republic. If you drive by car from Kudowa Zdrój into the national park around 15 min drive there is the entrance to see Błędne Skały. You have to pay 20 zł (€4,77) for your car to get in. Every hour till a quarter past the hour you'r aloud to drive up to Błędne Skały. (This is because of the small road). At Błędne Skały is a good parking place with a free toilet. And just a short walk you have the entrance to see the rocks. You have to pay 7zł p.p (€1,75) to get in. You can see some site seeing with a beautiful view (+/-900m above sea level). And walk through the labyrinth of rocks. Its a nice walk to go between the rocks. It can be very narrow and sometimes you have the bend to go through. But it is a exciting walk. It is suitable for children, pregnant ladies and older people. If you have physical problems, it may be not so easy to walk between the rocks. It took us around 1,5/2 hours to get from the small city Kudowa Zdrój to Błędne Skały and back.

The trail is closed for cars in winter, which puts off te mainstream tourists, but you can still explore it. Great for people seeking solitude in the mountains in winter. Excellent views, snowy forest, great hike.

One of 23 national parks in Poland, hidden in the corner of Kłodzko Valley. Authorities offices in the town of Kudowa-Zdrój, next to still being developed Ekocentrum (former Frog Museum). Park is mainly famous for its rock formations, with two of them Błędne Skały (Errant Rocks) and Szczeliniec Wielki having unusual shape of huge tables - that's how they look from the distance, when getting closer those "tables" are in fact enormous stone labyrinths. There are more rocks, such as Skalne Grzyby (Stone Mushrooms) or Urwisko Batorowskie (Batorów Cliff). But there's also many moors, which are not that much interesting for tourists as rocks, but are home to huge numbers of plant and animal species. Impressive choice of colour marked trails both for walkers and cyclists. Visiting park without own car can be a challenge, especially in cooler part of year. There're good connections on main roads from south or north, but there's only one service (mixed operations from Polish/Czech bus companies) that goes across the park through the village of Karłów (great base for day trips to all major attractions, located right in the heart of the park), and that's only from Easter till the end of September.

We spent a marvellous afternoon on Szczeliniec, climbed our way up and eventually enjoyed some cold beer at the local hostel. We had never thought the sights can be so stunning! The fog which was as thick as milk was devouring the trees. You do not have to go into much overrated Tatry Mountains to enjoy such glorious sights!

I would never even guess there is something like this in a flat country like this. Beautiful trail from the Czech borders, stunning nature, nice views and lots of rocks. Do not miss this when you're nearby! Great day out.

A beautiful mountain park; not very challenging mountains, good tourist mountains- and some beautiful structures. Some good named structures to admire, and the ecological setting is well presented- and should be appreciated.

Nice park with a lot of laberints on the rocks. That's a pitty that it's closing in summer every day at 19:00.
