Frankly, these are the only two things to see in Cargèse: these two churches are facing each other, it's really magnificent. The 2 churches, which are totally different because one is Greek, the other Corsican. The interior of the latter is surprising for Corsica, little gilding but lots of frescoes.

I happened onto this church as well as the Greek church, facing it in the Feast of the Assumption, August 15th, just in time to see the procession through the streets of Cargese it was a colorful and musically lovely experience

Opposite to the Greek church, also set-up on a terrace. Nice baroque drawings and light colours. Worth a brief visit.

Like the church of a different faith opposite, it is a very nice little church. Together they fit wonderfully into the beautiful Corsican village.
