Back in December 2014 (tripadvisor didnt allow me to select an earlier date than 2016), I came to do a one day intro AIDA1 with Carlo to get a basic knowledge of freediving for my mermaid photo shoot in Oslob with Whalesharks, I made it comfortably to 12m depth, and that was when i decided it's a sport i could continue to train and explore Thank you Wolfgang and Gadie for the detailed and frequent replies to my many many questions via email prior to my trip coming over, so helpful, patient and professional, as at that time is was also my first time to Cebu at that time

I took the AIDA3 course with Mikey. He's a wonderful instructor, very encouraging and calm. We went to a different place for each day of the course. The pool sessions were great to practice static apnea and dynamic. Open sessions with sardine runs were awesome! I highly recommend the course and Mikey!

Although the teacher was good, I would not recommend this school, all they are interested in is your money! No welcome, no goodbye, no feedback. Lack of organisation, expensive and ols wetsuits to rent! If you look for a cheerful experience , don't go there

Thank you Emmanuel for your review. All reviews are important to us to become better. We are having a hard time understanding and learning from most of your criticism. Freediving, similar to Yoga, is in most parts a quiet journey inward. Maybe this is why your expectation of a “cheerful experience” was not fulfilled? Before the course our instructor exchanged several emails with you to coordinate logistics and give you the necessary documents and theory material required for adequate preparation. In these emails you seemed happy about the pre-course support. The day before your course our instructor welcomed you personally and discussed with you in more detail what to expect in the days to come. Weather and the ocean can be rough in the Philippines in January. This requires flexibility (lack of organization?) from staff and customers. As a result we drove you - for free - the second course day to Tongo bay which has much less waves and was much better for your training! After the course the instructor again sat with you and the other student for the final debriefing. He gave you resources for additional knowledge and training, as well as explaining how to register and pay for your certification card with AIDA (we don't earn any peso there). We are happy to say we have already new wetsuits for all students! Again, we appreciate your feedback and hope you will continue to enjoy the sport of freediving.

My husband and I did the freediving AIDA2 course and we loved it! Everything was arranged very well, Drew was a great instructor (flexible to give us some more information about topics that actually weren't in the course, very motivational way of teaching and clear instructions), which made the whole course a very good experience. My husband was already into freediving, but I was a bit hesitant to dive so deep without air. But in the course you go step-by-step and now I'm even enthusiastic to try freediving again! Unfortunately we weren't able to complete the course because of equalization problems, but again Drew was very professional in giving us advice about this. So thanks a lot and we'd recommend Freediving Philippines to everyone!!

Drew Herric is the best instructor I'd ever met .Not only he is pecialized in the freediving field but also in his teaching altitude. He like to research and experiment. If you have any problem in learning, he can always find methods to revolve it.
