Lovely little beach with clear water
Jul 2021
The beach isn’t the biggest, mostly stone but the further you go it does get more sandy. The sea is so clear and you can go out quite far still standing, although would suggest getting some water shoes as to get into the sea there are quite large stones which are a little painful to walk over. There are however a few wooden piers which go out further than the stones to avoid them. Also had a small water sport centre where you can hire pedalos, jet skis and organised boat trips.

Worth the wait
Jun 2019 • Couples
Lovely food but slow service. Great location overlooking the sea. Staff are friendly but seem to be rushing around and not overly attentive. However, once they have taken your order, the food was worth the wait.

Nice way to relax
Jun 2019 • Couples
The beach is small but adequate for us. We had lunch in the associated tavern which served a nice selection of snacks. Beach is shingly but if you go out on the jetties and get in the sea from those, you should find yourself on sand. Sea is very salty so you may find it difficult to swim but ideal for just cooling down after a hot morning sunbathing.

Nice Quiet Beach
May 2019 • Family
This is a small but lovely little beach. Very pebbly and I would not bother trying to manoeuvre a pram on it! If you’re taking a baby, be prepared to carry them or to pop them in a sling.

I’d say this wasn’t a ‘sandcastle building’ beach but the younger children had fun throwing stones into the water and paddling in the sea.

There are sun loungers available in addition to sun shades. This makes sitting by the sea lovely and relaxing.

If you’re staying at the local hotel, you simply turn right upon exiting the hotel and walk for less than five minutes and you’re there.

The beach has flamingo and car boats that can be hired (€10 for an hour). Some have slides attached for a bit of fun in the sea.

Overall, this was a peaceful and clean beach.

Bring water shoes and you’ll be fine
May 2019 • Family
My two children loved this beach.

You can hire 2 sun beds with a parasol for 7€ or 5€ in the afternoon. It is extremely pebbly and you will need watershoes as it’s pretty painful on your feet but the sea is beautiful and clear and you can bathe in the shallow shores with jettys to get in from. There are also beautiful views of Kefalonia and mainland Greece.

There are pedalos available at a reasonable price.

There are restaurants and snack bars offers offering well priced snacks and drinks and there are public toilets and a shower to wash yourself down.

Overall it is very small but it was perfect for our family with 2 boys of 9 and 3 years old.

It is accessed down a reasonably steep hill but even with Fibromyalgia I was able to walk up it slowly. It may be more difficult for the less able or wheelchair bound.

Beautiful quiet beach stunning clear water. Quite stoney but does have small piers to allow you to get into the water. Food and drink available. Pedalo and jet ski available to hire too. Sunbeds available 2 for 7 euros for all day.

Dirty.
May 2019 • Friends
Not very big, dirty, and used by locals. You will need beach shoes as sharp stones and rubbish. The beach is down a hill and steep to get back up. There are a couple of places to eat and drink. If 50 people sunbathed on this beach it would be packed.

Not bad
May 2019 • Friends
I love beaches and whether I go I like to head to the coast. This beach was ok, relatively clean, but as other reviews have said rather stoney and lots of pebbles, not great (in my opinion) for small children.
