SeavisTours (Bayahibe, Dominican Republic) is a small independent tour operator and specializes in Eco Adventures: small groups, remote places, no crowds, no "booze cruises" and a lot of attention to nature.... The Parque Nacional del Este includes 3 Islands: Saona, Catalinita and Catalina. We have an Eco-Adventure to each of the three islands. All our tours are guided by a multi-lingual and knowledgeable guide. Quality and personal attention are guaranteed. Have a nice holiday!

We joined the Saona Crusoe VIP tour last Monday. What a great boat trip. Well organized and Ingrid is the sweetest tour guide you can imagine. Her love and devotion for people and animals are endless.V isited beautiful paradise palmtree beaches and the original village on the island. We also visited the turtle rescue. The way back at full speed was great. Really recommend this tour. Thank you so much!!

We did the jungle tour and visited Saona Island. We loved all the things we have seen and done. Like..speedboot, kajak and riviercruise. The food was also very good. Especialy the chicken!

Very fun excursion! The boat ride is fast (as in a fast boat lol) and the water is beautiful! The food is excellent and the pictures captured by the photographer were amazing! Overall a really great experience!

Great excursion. Loved everything about it. They gave very clear instructions. Taxis were prompt. We went to sauna island which is amazing. So wish we had more time there. The lunch was delicious especially the chicken. We saw sea turtles and got to snorkel with starfish. Ingrid was amazing and friendly. The only complaint is that we wish we had more time in port to stay at sauna island longer. Highly recommend this excursion. Cruised with carnival. We were. Family of 5. (Ages 8, 11, 13) Kids loved the speed boat ride.

We were on the Carnival Horizon and booked the Saona Carnival Special. This is an amazing excursion. We went to an island for lunch and swimming. We then went to another private area to view starfish. They took great pictures of everybody and provided drinks and snacks at this stop. We then went back to port with a crazy fast boat ride. Such fun!!

Booked the Chevon River cruise ahead of our cruise. It was such a great day out and had lots of fun. The guide was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. I can thoroughly recommend this company.

We did the Chavon Special tour in La Romana. It was really good and involved kayaking, lovely lunch, free drinks, a hike up a steep hill and across a bridge (just like I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’, sailing down the river and swimming in the river.
There is no pressure to do any of the above, so some in our party enjoyed the river and lunch only. There was also loads of information about the plants and environment delivered in a fun way. The river boat was our base. The whole trip was ‘rustic’ and gave us a real taste of The Dominican Republic.
Compared to the p and o trip we did later in the week…….
this river trip was a small group (lovely).
We were treated as individuals with respect.
The guides did everything possible to make it enjoyable and ensured we were safe. This was much better value for money than our P and O trip out (it was awful as we were lined up in our 100’s and squashed in) and it was far more expensive (St Kitts train ride - very expensive for what it was).
I strongly recommend this Chevan Special trip that we will never forget.

Very good trip with Seavistours, you visit the village of Mano Juan and view its simple life as well as turtle saving project - we were lucky to see just hatched turtles! The speed boat was fast, allowing us to visit a few other beaches and the starfish piscina (where we stopped only for 15minutes I would have wished for more). The trip is about beaches, not about snorkeling ( a bit dissapointment/wrong expectations?).

I loved the exucursion.I am 73 and the speed boat was good but I wouldnt do it again.It was difficult for me to get on and off the boat but they were awesome and helped me a lot.They gave drinks and snacks on our first stop and then a nice local lunch with lots of food on our final stop.It was one of the most awesome trips I have ever done.The water was gorgeous and they couldn't have been nicer.One guy was concerned about our return and made a butt of himself arguing with everyone on the bus but other than the the tour was worth every penny.One family adopted me and looked out for me the whole time since I was solo!Such nice people all around.Our guide I believe Karen was fantastic.Plenty of rum and coke but nothing diet!First time on speed boat and it does go fast and I saw my first real star fish! Yeah!

Yes during the visit to the village of Mano Juan we went to the turtle sanctuary. Unfortunately they did not have and hatched turtles at that time.

What was transfer from Punta Cana like - do you have to change vehicles and how long does it take?

We didn't have to change vehicles. We were picked up in front of our hotel by a driver and picked up a couple others on the way. It was a small van pick-up so we arrived within a reasonable timeframe. Afterwards, we were dropped back off in the same manner.

Hey... we stayed in bayahibe two years ago and booked a Tour with Seavis. This year we will come back to DR. Unfortunately we will have a Hotel in Bavaro. Has anyone eher made a tour with seavis and was collected in Punta Cana? Are there any Problems?

We did it and all was organized and there were no problems at all, I can recommend that! The pick up was a little bit later as announced but thats Punta Cana 🙂

Ik heb een algemene vraag over betaalmiddel in DR. Is het verstandiger om US Dollars mee te nemen of Pesos?
De tours bij seavis kunnen met euro’s betaald worden las ik, dat is fijn! :)
Verder nog tips? Wij reizen volgende week die kant op. Hebben 2 excursies (nature complet&saona) geboekt bij seavistours, mogelijk willen we nog de jungle tour bij boeken.

Wat betreft geld, maken ze er een potje van in DR. Ik zou je willen adviseren om inderdaad euro’s en dollars mee te nemen. De wisselkoersen daar zijn ongunstig. Waar wij zaten waren weinig pinautomaten en je kon ook maar voor max. 32 € pinnen. Niet handig! Banken hebben ook geen goede koers, ook op het vliegveld niet. Dus misschien verstandig om cash mee te nemen.
Hele fijne vakantie, ik hoop dat jullie net zo’n mooie reis hebben als wij hebben gehad!

Taxi was 10-15 min reasonably priced. I personally booked the boat cruise down the Chavon River and not the speed boat cruise excursion. My family thought it was the best excursion we have ever taken. The crew took wonderful care of us and answered any questions we had .
