Well organised and good communication prior to tour, hotel pick-up even arrived 2 min early!
The trip has multiple stops but never feels rushed, Kirsten has lots of knowledge and does a great job explaining everything. Lunch was tasty.
Can fully recommend this tour. They care about the environment and finance turtle conservation and other projects in the area.

Due to Covid unfortunately not all tours are running (this is the case for all operators, some are even completely shut) but they tried their best to get enough people together to run the tour. Recommend to get in touch early and show some flexibility to help arrange the tours.

We booked a full day private boat tour to Soana Island for group of 14 people (mix of teens, young adults, and adults/parents). We had an amazing time and all agreed this was the highlight of our vacation. Our original booking was for the motor boat, but they gave us a complimentary upgrade to the speed catamaran. This was a much more spacious, comfortable, and nicer option. We were staying next door at the Hilton La Romana resort so in walking distance to the office/boat. We met at 8:15am for check at their office on Bahiyibe Beach. We left at about 9am and they dropped us off at 5:30 pm at our hotel’s beach. Andy was our guide, a captain and assistant. They were all very friendly, fun and accommodating. The tour consisted of three stops on the island and last one at the natural pool on the way back. Andy timed our stops to avoid any crowds which was much appreciated and allowed for a more private and relaxing time. We snorkeled on the island and saw a variety of fish, flying fish and a sea turtle on the boat ride to Soana, and a few starfish in the natural pool. They provided music and kept the rum, MamaJuana, soft drinks and water flowing all day. For beer drinkers-Bohemia beer was offered during lunch on our last island stop after the eco tour of the sea turtle conservation. We all loved the Dominican-style lunch ( favorites were the chicken, rice, and spaghetti). Soana Island is a gorgeous tropical island and highly recommend this company for a more exclusive, quieter, laid back but equally fun tour. Thanks again for an amazing day trip to Soana Island.

We did the Saona trip with our 12 year old son and would definitely recommend. Our guide was Ingrid and we mainly had German speakers on the boat (we are English). Ingrid always made a point of repeating everything in English and was very helpful and informative. The two boat crew were also very friendly and did very well in following the turtles so that we all had a good view of them (this was wonderful). All the stops were great, lunch was tasty, and we saw some lovely fish when snorkelling, including a ray at the final beach. We would definitely recommend this tour!!!

We had a great time with Ingrid on our speed boat ride to a private island. Once there, we had a great beach, great drinks and great food all included!
Once the lunch was over, we got back into the speed boat and went by some Mangrove trees with a little history lesson and then hung out with some starfish in a shallow sand bar!
It was a great adventure and Ingrid was wonderful!
The company was very cognizant of our timeframe to get back to our cruise ship which made everyone feel comfortable that we wouldn’t be late. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

From my first contact with Seavis Tours, the customer service was excellent. We were a larger group (25 of us, 5 families with teens/20-somethings) looking for a fun, adventurous day in the Dominican while we were in port on a cruise. I reached out to Seavis and within less than a day I heard back from Ingrid. Ingrid answered every question I had, was able to help me arrange round trip transportation from the cruise port to Bayahibe and booked the 25 of us on a private Saona Special tour. (We even received a nice discount because we had such a large group). I have travelled around the world and the customer service and response time with Seavis was one of the best I have experienced.

We spent the last day of 2019 on the tour. Kristen was our tour guide for the day! What a fun, energetic person she is! We felt like we knew her for years. She had lots of information and stories to share and always had a smile on her face.

We enjoyed every part of the day from the stop at Piscina Natural spending time waist deep in the crystal-clear water, sipping juice and rum, snacking on local treats and the highlight...seeing the starfish indigenous to the area at our feet.

The high-speed boat ride was invigorating and gave a us a chance to see the breathtaking coastline and mangroves.

When we arrived at Saona Beach we couldn't have been happier! The area was like a postcard, and it wasn't crowded. For two hours, everyone had their needs met. Beach chairs under shady trees or in the sun if you wanted to sunbath. Beautiful water to swim in, massages on the beach, a delicious lunch, and snorkeling.

When we got back from the tour, the kids all told me that, "This was a perfect beach day and one of the best tours they had ever been on."

Book with Seavis....you won't be disappointed!

We booked this tour for our group of 9 (8 adults, 1 tween) for our cruise ship stop in DR. We found the taxi quite easily at the port and it was approx. 20 min drive to the Seavis office. Check in and boarding was well organized. We then enjoyed a ride by motorboat out to the sand bar, where we stopped and had rum and cake while we searched for starfish. Then we continued on past the mangroves to the island. There we had an open bar while enjoying the beach and water. Lunch was typical DR food of chicken, pork and rice. We then boarded the boat back to the Seavis office and were transported back to the cruise port with plenty of time to spare. We were very pleased with the tour, especially since we were a little nervous about booking something not with the cruise ship, but this tour was well worth the very reasonable price we paid. My only complaint was that Saona Island is so beautiful that I wish we could have stayed all day!

We did the beach tour on Saona island. The tour was nice, we did have some weather which definitely contributed to the experience (downpour rain), but it was still a good time. The water was pretty rocky on the floor so I’d definitely recommend water shoes. The boat got the job done, it 100% needs padded seats (don’t sit in the front unless you want a “Dominican massage”!). The starfish pool was awesome. There is a photographer, we did purchase the photo package, however, it is definitely overpriced. Good excursion for a one time thing!

My husband and I did the day trip to Saona Island. I recommend Seavis tours, they were amazing! Taking a speedboat on the ocean with a small group was perfect, the captain was an amazing driver and knew exactly how to drive in waves. Ingrid is warm and inviting and the perfect tour guide making sure everyone was enjoying the experience.
Lunch was the best meal we had the entire time in the Dominican Republic, really wish our resort food was half as good. The stops along the island were beautiful and perfectly timed to explore each area. When we return we will definitely tour with Seavis tours again. It's family friendly and Ingrid is fluent in many languages. Also there was a photographer on board that offered pictures at the end, the pictures were great and only $40.

Beautiful trip from beginning to end. Everything was well organized and went smoothly from pick-up to drop off to and from hotel. No headaches and I felt safe the whole time. They listen to what you want and alter the trip to what you want to see (I booked a private trip for 2). The natural pool was amazing to see with all the starfish (no touching the starfish to protect them). Additionally, the lunch included was delicious. We even had snacks/drinks on the speedboat as well as on the island. We even passed by some water obstacle courses that you see on TV for competition because my bf wanted to get near them and see them. My bf was super excited to see that. Your wish is their command. They really took good care of us. I loved that Ingrid and the captain took us to a secluded location of Isla Saona; passed all the catamarans and parked speedboats. It was perfect! Barely anyone around you. Perfect during this pandemic. Additionally, Ingrid rescue animals. She is an animal lover. She really is a great person, funny as well. I recommend them for all the tours they’re offering. You would thank me. I will only book through them for any future excursions if and when I visit DR again.

This was a well organised tour that took in a number of amazing sites on the way to and also on Saona Island. The tour guide was good and his ability to give instructions and information in two languages was impressive.

Couple of negative points why this isn't 5 stars. Firstly the boat that they use to take you on the trip is comprised of extremely uncomfortable plastic benches. There wasn't a breath of wind on land but once on the water it became choppy so I'm not sure if this is always the case in these parts. This resulted in the boat smashing into various waves and audible groans from the passengers particularly an older group behind us. If you don't have a back problem or bruised coccyx before you will after. All our party in particular had problems the next day.

Secondly, whilst there were a few breaks for drinks and a longer one for lunch, we expected more water to be available particularly as it is extremely hot at the moment. Had we have known there wouldn't be as much on offer we would have brought some ourselves. Unfortunately this resulted in one of our party fainting in the turtle sanctuary.

Other than the two points above which may have been circumstantial, would recommend Seavis Tours
