Family run SSI certified dive boat operation in Bayahibe, on the Caribbean coast of Dominican Republic, specializing in private scuba diving, scuba lessons and trips. The schedule is done completely by the clients (weather / sea conditions apply). For about the same price you can enjoy scuba diving and trips only with your family or group of friends. You’ll choose the dive sites, make your own schedule, nobody will rush anywhere. We do not limit the dive times, the only limitation is the air, bottom time and the weather / the sea conditions.

Fantastic! This was the first time diving for our group. Three of us dived and one snorkelled for the first time. Nathalia was a super instructor, very clear, safety oriented, friendly, full of knowledge and fun. Eddie, our captain, made sure we got to where we needed and ensured our safety from above while diving. Peter arranged for our pick up and return to the hotel. Everyone at Sharky's was professional, friendly and great to work with. Reasonably priced for a private tour, so you can focus on the type of experience you are looking for. Saona island is amazing and our local lunch was great! I highly recommend this diving experience.

I did 5 days of diving and my boyfriend did the Discovery Scuba Diving plus we did the day trip to Isla Saona. Everything was absolutely incredible, this is a professional shop with guides who know the area very well and pick dives on days based on what they know will be the best experience (considering visibility conditions and whether the dive site might be over populated that morning). Nati is a wonderful guide, so friendly and helpful and she has an excellent eye for spotting wildlife. I would HIGHLY recommend you dive with Sharky's! Thank you Nati and Peter for everything!!

We did a combo snorkel/dive day trip to Saona. It was about an hr drive ro native from resort, but was worth it. We did have a little trouble with the taxi driver on the way there, but Petr was in constant contact with us and handled the situation for us. He was fantastic. Due to arriving late, we split into two groups for the morning to get all the dives and snorkeling in, but met up at lunch and finished the day together. Both Sasha and Petr were fantastic. Sasha taught us about the area and we taught him some things as well ;). Petr took great video during the dive for us. We even forgot a piece of dive equipment at the shop and Petr went out of his way to arrange to get it to our resort Highly recommend Sharkys Crew!

The dives with Sharkey's Crew was excellent!
We were two uncertified divers. We went for two dives with a stop at Saona Island and at Piscina Naturale.
Our instructor Natalie
She introduced us to the diving basics and the diving gear. Then we practiced breathing and some safety maeuvers in a shallow water befor going for the dives.
At the two perfectly chosen dive sites we felt safe the whole time and we could enjoy the Carribbean underwater life. Seen turtels, stingrays, moray eels, trumpet fish, parrot fish, corals and a whole lot more. It was absolutely awesome, like nothing we experienced so far.
The delicious lunch under the Coco palms of Saona Island and diving to see many starfish at Piscina Naturale were equally enjoyable experiences.
From our own experience we heartily recommend diving with Sharky's Crew at Bayahibe.

My daughter and I had a fantastic day diving with sharky's. My daughter was recently certified and I hadn't dove in 15 years. Peter was very easy to communicate with over WhatsApp and we loved going out solo with Peter, who's is very knowledgeable and a great dive master. We did 2 beginner level dives off of Bayahibe (lighthouse reef and 1 in the national park) which were both perfect for our needs. Water viz was great, reef was in excellent shape and we saw lots of tropicals, lobster, lionfish and morays. We absolutely loved the personalized nature of the trip and can't recommend Sharky's enough. If we are lucky enough to be back in the DR again we will definitely book more dives with Sharky's. Thank You Peter!

If you are diving out of Bayahibe or La Ramana, you absolutely need to check out Sharky's. Peter and his crew took really good care of my wife and I. We logged several dives only limited by our air consumption, one was over 65 min! You definitely want to plan a day out to Saona Island and stop by the Natural Pool. 5 Stars

My boyfriend and I completed our Open Water Diving certification with Natalia and had a wonderful experience! It was my first time scuba diving and Natalia was understanding and made sure I was comfortable with each skill before we took to our actual dives. She was a great instructor who instilled confidence in us and made sure our experience was educational while also exciting! Our time on the open water dives was out of this world and made us feel like part of Sharky’s diving crew diving alongside the owner & former owner. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, Natalia & Peter!!

Natalia was our guide and dive master for the day. This was our first dive post certification, so I was pretty anxious prior to the dive. It was also our first boat dive and our first salt water dive. Natalia took her time explaining each dive location to us and briefed us on conditions, what we would be seeing, etc. By the time we were in the water for our first dive, I was completely relaxed. She was very patient with us the entire time and made sure to keep things at a comfortable pace for us. The visibility was awesome and the reef and marine life were beautiful!! I highly recommend a private tour with Sharky’s Crew! (Hint: Bring an extra $20 if you want a Sharky’s Crew t-shirt.)

We decided to book with Peter and Two Toes and it was one of the best decisions for our group of inexperienced divers. They took us out and it was an unbelievable experience. They are very personable and work directly with you showing you the best places and what to look for. They were able to find a seahorse and two large sting rays. Booking with them allows you a more private experience that allowed us an experience we will always remember.

We had the BEST time on our dive, it was so amazing we came back and did a second day diving with Peter. There was 5 in our group, and all newly certified divers. It was amazing being able to be out with just our group and not a huge boat full of people! We felt very comfortable and very well taken care of! We will for sure be back next time we visit! Highly recommend Sharky’s to anyone looking to dive or any of their other adventures they offer!

Bayahibe: Shorty or full 3mm in February? Seeing reports between 79 - 81 degrees farenheit that is near the threshold for my cold tolerance in a shorty. Appreciate any advice from seasoned divers. Anyone dive with Scuba Caribe? Thanks.

We are planning our dive trip and would like to look at some reefs before we send our itinerary. I know there's no guarantee in seeing anything on our dives but what reefs would advise to increase our chances of seeing a sea horse

Hi. My husband and I got our PADI open water certification last September but haven't done an ocean dive as yet. We were in Cuba in Feb. this year but didn't feel comfortable with the dive shop at our resort so we didn't dive. This year, we're planning on coming to the DR, the Coral Costa Caribe to be exact, and I was wondering if you had any yays or nays about their dive shop. We'd appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks.

This is a small shop run by two brothers. They are very skilled and professional. They only do small groups. I would be very comfortable doing my open water dives with them. If you are looking for a large dive shop with many employees and a storefront in a large city, this is not the place, but none of that matters.

Posiblemente viaje solo desde Argentina en noviembre. Me gustaría saber cuánto sale una excursión de buceo, si lo filman y hasta que profundidad son las inmersiones. Yo hice una sola práctica anterior en Isla Margarita y siendo hipertenso no tuve ningún problema, creo que la segunda inmersión estábamos cerca de los 10 mts. y nos vendieron en CD con la filmación. Muchas gracias.

Disculpa la demora, no hemos recibido ninguna notificacion de TripAdvisor. Te comento que el precio por persona es de 169 usd, dos inmersiones con equipo incluido. Debido a que nos dedicamos al buceo privado, serian solo ustedes dos en el bote junto con el instructor. La actividad de Seabob cuesta 85 usd por persona pero si realizan ambas actividades podemos aplicar un descuento del 10%. Usted puede elegir los sitios de buceo, nos limitaremos a recomendar lo que sería lo mejor para usted, basado en su experiencia de buceo y las condiciones reales de cada día. No limitamos los tiempos de inmersión, sólo el tiempo de fondo y el aire son los límites.
