We have read various reviews and have become aware of Dominican emotion. Via WhatsApp we got all the information and were able to book the tour to Saona with pickup from the port in La Romana. We can only agree with all the positive reviews! The staff are very friendly and the group size totally pleasant. The speedboat is mostly covered with a sun sail, so you can sit in the shade during the trip.
Compared to other providers, the price/performance ratio is right! There are always drinks and lunch is very delicious. On the individual beaches you are not alone, but you never feel stressed and have enough time to swim. You can also have a photo shoot done for a small extra charge, but you don't have to. There is no convulsive attempt to get more money out of you!
The German-speaking tour guide Melissa has answered us everything possible and looked after us very fondly. She was definitely the biggest asset that day!

We travel a lot and have been on many excursions and this was by far the best experience we ever had! Even with the day starting out on a boat ride in the rain…Katya and her team made sure we were safe and were going to have an awesome time no matter what! Katya took the time to make sure our safety was number one priority and that everyone in our group of 16 knew the rules at each stop and while on the boat, which was so appreciated since we had a bunch of 18 year old boys with us. Each island we got stopped at we had the best time! They made sure we had everything we needed and we even had one person who had been sick and Katya went out of her way to take care of her and even going as far to arrange a stop at the Pharmacia on the way back to the resort to get some things to help her get better which ultimately worked! Again…you want the best excursion…don’t look any further than this company right here and make sure you request Katya! Also, Cuchi Cuchi was the most amazing and fun photographer and videographer! It was well worth the money to have someone else taking pics and videos all day so we could enjoy each other and our experiences. We got the pictures back before we went to bed that evening…all 200 of them!!!

We took the hike to Saona, and it was the most beautiful hike I have ever done. Ugo a serious and reliable person with better prices than those they propose in the villages, we left with a fast boat that in my opinion I find safer than the catamaran, and above all it was equipped with a tent, excellent for the temperatures there. Beautiful tours, fulfilled all the itinerary and the best how private it was, we almost never stumbled upon another tour, therefore visiting each place seemed to be alone on the island. We traveled by speedboat and were a limited group of 22 people, the times in the very long places to enjoy, plus travel with a baby of 1 year 4 months and everything excellent. Katerina and her colleagues were extremely professional while providing us with the upmost accommodating experience.

The crew had everyone’s safety and security locked in which means a lot to myself and my family as we are visitors to this country, and finding authentic service providers off Resort can leave people weary.

We did the excursion to Saône VIP island with Dominican Emotion and it was beautiful experience. We met different parts of the island, it includes a very complete buffet lunch and as a last stop we were in the natural pools where we enjoyed the crystal clear water and saw beautiful starfish.The staff has very good energy and good vibe. We did the Saona VIP excursion. Recommended to spend a day in joy with music and open bar. Also included the very good and varied buffet lunch. Compared to the other excursions that I propose the different agencies, we visited more places at a lower cost. Really recommended!!

My husband and I are presently staying at Sunscape Dominicus La Romana. I am so happy that I did my research before booking a tour. We did not book through the hotel, instead we booked the Saona Island VIP tour with Dominican Emotion. A big thanks to Katerina Caribe and her crew for their professionalism and customer service, and treated us more like friends than customers, This gave us an exciting and memorable day. The prices for their excursions are affordable, with small groups so you are not crammed together like sardines, and we have all had that experience. I took the tour to Saona Island today with Katerina Caribe and it was 5*!!
Everything spectacular! From the first contact via WhatsApp to meeting at the hotel to arrange everything for the next day.
The trip was fun from start to finish. Drinks throughout the trip, boat with seats for everyone, covered to protect from the sun. The food was great and we even had sun loungers to sunbathe. I highly recommend booking a tour with Katerina for everything I said here but mainly for the attention she gives to her clients, on the tour but also outside of it. He even brought us dollars so we didn't have to go and change the money.
