Siviri is a place which we gladly visit for many years. However, this year some establishments have become quite arrogant, overpriced and low quality service. For example, Barco Bar just right from the pier has increased its prices and lowered the quality of its beverages. Moreover, you will be warned not to give your baby any specialized baby food, because they don't let you consume anything from outside. Although this policy is sensible, the fact that they offer only toast and club sandwiches does not make it sensible when dealing with the needs of infants who are still too young to consume their food. It is not like one is bringing gyros or souvlaki from outside to make a fuss about it. All in all, we loved Siviri for many years, but establishments like Barco have made us start a new place for vacations.

Sandy beach, but the first steps in the water goes deep very quickly so it is not suitable for children. The water is dirty, probably from the state municipality sanitary system, the drenaje canal is right in the middle of the beach, directly into the sea. There are sunbeds and umbrellas you can rent, no charge. You can find taverns and food with a big variety as per everyone's preferences. But I do not recommend La Tuna sunbeds&umbrella renting because of a very-very small variety for food&drinks and big delays for the drinks ordered.

Unlike many other beaches in the area, here there are less stones. It’s fine sand and relatively small and calm water makes is a good destination for families with small children.
A major set back is, however, that the water is not as blue and clear as in other parts of Halkidiki. So snorkeling is not a very good option.
Also, the beach is narrow and the place can get pretty crowded, as this is a popular touristic atraction.

In my opinion the second best beach (after Paliouri) on Kassandra, located in a small sea side village of Siviri. The water is turquise crystal clear, with fine white sand.
Apart from that, there are few cafes on it offering sunbeds and umbrellas (along with free wifi) for a reasonable priced drink. Next door is a great Giros restaurant with delicious food right on the beach.
Perfect opportunity to spend a whole day there at total leisure and peace of mind.

We stayed in Kalithea and had a hire car. We'd seen some info on Siviri and decided to have a look, we were so impressed with the beach we went back another day. It was October and the place was deserted so we had the beach all to ourselves.

As most of the Halkidiki's beaches is full of people, but if you came for fun, just enjoy. A lot of restaurants, smiling people, nice food, clean sand. Nice hotels in the neighbourhood.

Perfect beach for a small kids. The water was clean and warm and also not very deep with one word perfect for small kids. Every 100 meters there is a shower and changing rooms. Also you can find free parking nearby. Its perfect and romantic for a sunset walk in the sand from one end to another.

This is a long sandy beach. Water is not very deep and has parts with rock bottom as well as sandy bottom. Suitable for kids. There is also free space if you want to just sit in the sand and there are many sunbeds if you prefer a more comfortable visit. The water was very clean except the seaweed on a windy day. The beach was clean, if you disregard many cigarette buds in the sand... one day we walked all the way to the end of the quay and walked over a few big rocks to find ouselves alone at a small and secluded part of the beach which is perfect if you dislike crowds. There were not too many visitors when we were in Siviri.

I was in Siviri from 01-12.7. The general impression was ruined by a very dirty sea. Namely, the river flows into the sea, and due to the cloudy rain all sludge and grass flowed into the sea and it was unpleasant to swim in it. The city is pretty. There are a couple of beautiful cafes and restaurants and gourmet "Via gelato" with the most beautiful ice cream ever. Prices in local shops are "strong" in relation to a few kilometers below. Only in the end emergency buy in local shops ... all the rest go to a bigger market. Giros are not spectacular, if you are already buying in Siviri, then choose a tavern in the very center of this village, at the very corner (this is "via gelato" ice cream across the road).
