Beautiful bay, vegetation all around and views of Sithonia, but the water is a real disappointment, with colors that travel between yellow, brown and military green... nothing to do with other places you can find in Greece (and in the Chalkidiki peninsula itself).
Expensive bathing establishments (about 60 euros between umbrella and compulsory consumption) and overcrowded.
There really is no valid reason to come here.

If you are looking for the best beach clean and green with blue water xenia beach is the best.Thee are too many bars and beds but the best one is cabana beach club. You can find every kind of drink and food with a quick service. We spent 2 days in this lovely place.

We visited this long sandy beach twice. The first time was on a boat trip and we stopped at the southern end where the lines of sun beds and umbrellas are up to fourteen deep and bass-driven rock music blares out. We did however see a far more natural northern end of the beach. The sea and sand were lovely though, clear, warm and shallow. We came by bus a second time and headed for the much much quieter northern end, which was delightful. Very peaceful and great for snorkeling. There is also a little harbour that is very photogenic with a variety of new and old boats - well worth a visit

I came back to this place after 7 years. The beach and the sea itself are still beautiful as the day one. The service id not so good. They are nog very polite and seem like they want to get rid of the customers instead of attracting them. Prices are a bit higher bit that's to be expected.

Dropped in here for a snack and drink one afternoon and whilst the beach bar looks lovely and has a great location, the customer service elements need polishing. After a number of minutes waiting, we decided to in search of menus ourselves and were provided with same. This request though didn't prompt anyone to come back to us to enquire as to our order, so after 10 minutes waiting, we decided to leave to try another beach bar further down.

We've heard that this beach is like a heaven compared to the other beaches on Kassandra, makes you feel like you're on Hawaii's.
Well let me just straight up say that the people who say such things haven't seen anything.
I've visited the beach today with my family, 5 members in total, and it was the most unpleasant experience as well as a waste of time.
The approach to the beach, free part, is catastrophic (check image). The bushes on the both sides are completely unhealthy with bunch of trash which probably hasn't been cleaned since forever.
The other two approaches to the beach are through the beach bars. These parts of the beach are actually somewhat cleaned and organized, at least one of them. But the prices are increadibly high. 15e per person in one of the bars, up to 100e - still per person. In my honest opinion, these prices would probably be alright if the beach was at least properly cleaned and environmentally pleasent for human beings.
The "Free Beach" is nothing but a 7x7 squarelike place at which you obviously have to bring your own beach umbrella, food and drinks if you're planning on staying there the whole day.
The water was calm, not the turquoise blue one would like to see, probably great for families with young children since the greater depth is only noticable after quite some time of walking. For those who wonder, there's a lot of sand everywhere, I'd recommended bringing bottles with water to clean your feet.
The pictures are great, there's a lot of large rocks on the sides so there's a lot of exploring that can be done, could probably even take a couple of great pictures if you have a underwater camera.

In my opinion this is the most overrated beach I’ve ever been to.crowded is an overstatement the bars are the most expensive in the area not to mention the rubbish left in piles at the rear of the beach and the old derelict hotels beyond the beach/dunes .really DONT bother go to your local beach .
