Beautiful long beach, sand some rock and calm gently shelving entry into the sea. Colours are Caribbean- blues, turquoise green. Sun beds available at beach bar and Taverna, free for the price of a drink or meal.

Greece - Toroneos Bay. The photo attached is taken from a beach close to Chrousou, a village on the westernmost peninsula of Halkidiki - Kassandra. This peninsula is quite small at around 30 by 6 miles or so, but thanks to it's beautiful beaches, green hills covered with pine-trees and tasty food in local fish cafes is actually worth spending at least a few days, if not weeks :) The water is crystal clear and of beautiful color, the beaches are either sand or pebbles. Best time to visit is summer - hot!, late spring or early fall - a bit cooler but is still perfectly fine for swimming and sunbathing. What you see on photo on the other side of the bay is Sithonia peninsula. Approx. location where the photo was taken is 39.981391, 23.652065
