The Best Cultural(Food Tour You will ever Take

Nausica is an excellent guide (knowledgeable and personable) and has wonderful rapport with all the restaurants and shops we visited. The combination of historical information with all the fantastic food exceeded our expectations. We have never received as much high quality food on a tour. The beauty of the old city has me longing to go back - but the 24 hour one way travel time is a major deterrent.
If you visit from a cruise ship and are short on time, I recommend taking a taxi from the port. You can easily walk or take an inexpensive bus to return to your ship.

Exceptional Walking Tour

We did a Food & Cultural walking tour which far exceeded my already high expectations. Our tour guide is a Corfu local and so was able to give us a real sense of local life as well as the usual interesting historical references. She also took us to several foodie hidden treasures and our excellent value tour included a wonderful breakfast and lunch as well as 2 extra stops to taste and drink local specialities. The group was small and intimate (6 of us) and we really enjoyed getting to know each other as we sat and ate Greek pastries and drank limoncello. I cannot recommend this highly enough. It was fantastic!

Best possible walking tour anywhere!

We can’t say enough good things about our private food and walking tour of Corfu town with Nafsika. It was fun, informative, engaging, and delicious. Each stop — whether historical or culinary — was a memorable moment. We have been on many walking tours in other cities, and this one was by far the best and sets a new standard for us! The experience felt like hanging out in with a dear friend who wanted to show us her city and favorite haunts. We can’t wait to come back and do it again.

Great way to get to know the city in a deeper way!

We were lucky to book two walking tours with this company: one for food and drinks, and another one for historic sightseeing. Ariti was our first guide and she made our experience better as she explained the origins of Corfu culinary history. She always behaved nice to us and didn't mind on staying with us a bit longer to have a nice evening with us.
Nausica was our second guide and we had a great day with her too, as she also explained and answer all of our questions with a big smile despite the pretty high temperature we had that day.

I would definitely recommend these tours to anyone going to Corfu as this island is full of history and delicacies that are worth every minute!

Food & Cultural tour. AMAZING!

This is a food and cultural tour of Corfu and was absolutely brilliant. Our guide, Nausica, was stunning and amazing and she introduced us to her beloved island’s heritage and food. Don’t let the cost put you off and you get plenty to eat and drink (including some alcohol) and the 3hrs was actually 5hrs! I just can’t recommend this highly enough. Thank you so much.

Great walking tour to understand Corfu history & culture

We booked a food walking tour as we have found that you not only get to hear about the history of a town during the tour but also the culture through the food. This tour started by the old fortress and took us throughout the old town to the start of the new town. We started our food with breakfast. A selection of savoury & sweet pastries with coffee. The owner of the bakery & juice bar was very welcoming and explained the food while our guide helped with an overview of Greek culture. After a trip around more historic sights we tried kumquat liquor and sweets, a specialty of Corfu. Then met a very enthusiastic owner of a spice and oil shop who gave a great overview of local food. Lastly we finished with a sample of Greek meze plates. Great food, great company and good value. We have revisited the places on this tour and used the recommended restaurants. So far we have not been disappointed in the quality of food. Great tour if you have never been to Corfu and want to get an understanding of it’s history & culture.

Excellent Food & Walking Tour of Corfu

My wife and I booked this food tour during our cruise and loved it. Our guide was a walking encyclopedia of Corfu and took us places we would not find on our own. She greeted each restaurant owner by first name and we were treated like family. Highly recommend.

Excellent private food & historical walking tour

Katarina met us exactly on time, as we arrived at our designated meeting place. From start to finish she provided thoughtful, interesting insights into the history of Corfu Town and local foods. We always try to build a walking tour when we visit a new place. This tour was among the best in terms of food, pace, history and variety of sites (churches, galleries, forts and the Corfu synagogue). This tour is a terrific introduction to Corfu - make sure you ask your guide for further dining and cultural recommendations.

A must do when in Corfu! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We did our tour with Ariti last week and it was the highlight of our holiday. From the moment we met up I knew we were going to have a great experience. Ariti explained the historical context of Corfu in a clear and easy manner and was happy to answer any questions.
The places we visited for the food element of the tour were excellent - we got way more food than I was expecting and everything was delicious.
As someone who works in tourism I know how tiring guiding can be but Ariti was still full of enthusiasm & passion even in October!
We had a great bunch of people on the tour with us and Ariti made everyone feel comfortable and by the end of the tour we all felt like friends and hope to meet up again some day!
Thank you again and see you in 2024 😀

Great experience

We had a bespoke walking tour with George, where we hiked through some wonderful, picturesque woodland areas of Corfu, ending up at stunning secluded beaches. We were able to spend some time enjoying a swim and take in the great views. George took us to a local bakery for breakfast to try native delicacies, as well as to an old Corfu town. He gave us some interesting insights into Corfu life and we would highly recommend the tour!
