Liston is a Venetian word used to indicate a square or section of a square - refers to the long marble slabs used for paving the streets. Corfu's Liston dates back to 1814 and was constructed during the times of French rule. Nowadays the buildings there house many elegant cafes and restaurants.

Thank you Κυριακή for being such a good waitress! You really were excellent! The food was of a very high standard and priced appropriately for the quality which on e again was of a high standard. The quiche was other worldly! The tiramisu was also very good. The restraint is run to a very high standard and I would like to congratulate you on a fine establishment. Bravo! I hope to return in the future. Thank you.

Despite the pandemic there were many families enjoying the lovely picturesque and historic Liston quarter of Corfu Old Town. Not surprising that this is where many films and TV series are filmed as it is beautiful. There are also many lovely places to eat and drink. Don’t miss out. Bring your mask and enjoy 😊

The Liston is a beautiful place on the the old town of Corfu.
Here you will see the most discerning of Greek people and the occasional tourist sipping coffee, having lunch, or dinner, people watching, or just watching the world go by.
Not only are you surrounded by beautiful people, you are also surrounded by the most beautiful architecture in every direction you look.
During the weekend it livens up in the evenings, with the locals coming into town to enjoy a night out. This brings a different vibe and buzz to The Liston. Sipping coffee is taken over by sipping beer and Cocktails, with twinkling lights and music playing in the back ground.
A nice place to spend an hour, or two, in the morning, late afternoon, or evening, relaxing, drinking and talking to friends or family.

Known as Λιστόν in Greek, The Liston is a pedestrian street and area in the heart of Old Corfu Town.
An impressive arched acarade houses a number of restaurants and cafes, which runs parallel with Spianda.
Each one of the many arches has a heavy lantern light hanging from it.
The construction of this rather grand arcade area was completed in 1814.
The archway of the Palce of Saint Michael and Saint George can be seen further down the walkway.
A good place to stroll along and admire the architecture or simply sit have a coffee and soak up the atmosphere.

Fabulous cocktails in a beautiful setting. We came here for a few drinks one afternoon when spending the day in Corfu town and the manager kindly agreed to let us change cocktails prior to ordering if we didn't like them which did happen as one was far too strong. Great customer service and a setting to die for.

Top quality service and quality food and drinks. Will be my first port of call when I next come to Corfu. The waiter was extremely attentive without be overbearing he even bought me a beer for having a smile on my face and being happy.

This is a good place to sit in the evening with drinks and friends and watch the people on volta, or chat or both. There are multiple bars and restaurants to choose from. We tried three of them and found all three pleasant at what they do. Don't rush. Take your time and enjoy the environment for several hours.

We walked the old part of town and spent the entire day shopping and touring. The Old Fortress is well worth the time, we even put our toes into the Mediterranean Sea. It was HOT, some places were difficult to terrain, but we would do it all over again, just say when!

A very nice place to visit, walk about, buy some souvenirs and some linen clothing as well as very exquisite false jewelery (faux bijoux) designed by talented people. Food is OK, nothing “traditional” as claimed (except the names of dishes!) so do not expect anything “real Greek”. All in all it is a very nice place to spend a few hours.

Absolutely. Also there is an incredibly beautiful harbor village north (about 45 minutes) called Kassiopi. Have lunch by the water there

I was there in winter so most places wee closed or on short hours. No one was around except locals. If going in the high season, I am sure it will be crowded. I did go to Josephine's and it was a nice place, other restaurants were a close walk with traditional and "European" foods.

Hi ;
if you want to go from Perama to Messonghi you can use "GREEN BUS" which is going there every day except saturday and Sanday. Check time on a bus station or as in your hotel to know time of bus back to your place
