It was very poignant reading the grave inscriptions on over 2 centuries of burials. The gardens are well maintained and cool on a hot day. The tortoises that roam were a bonus!

What an amazing place. Looked after by George who was born there. He took over the management from his father. Very moving walking around the graves, so many young lives lost!

The views are stunning, the cemetry is very well presented and tortoises roam freely around the grounds. Please visit and learn a little history.

As the previous person says and I agree, the caretaker has a house within the Cemetary, so I think every day during daylight. It isn't a very well signposted place or gate, but worth the searching!
