It is a pleasant square with majestic old buildings and developed gardens that were in need of weeding and a little more maintenance.Forget the weeds (and the trash that is accumulating in the city) and enjoy the scenery and the the ocean views.

Visited today. Nice gardens and grounds surround a bandstand and few statutes. Worth a visit for the lovely photo opportunities.

The square is big and lots of room for walking. it is also close to shopping and history sites. Spending a little extra time is worth your time. We jumped of the bus and glad we did
