This church was under construction, but offered a quiet respite compared to the Agious Spyridon. While it seems that most Orthodox churches are very dark, they provide the opportunity to feel the presence of God.

This is the Orthodox cathedral and houses the remains of Saint Theodora, who was the Empress of Constantinople. It is near to the New Fort. Up a flight of stairs and in a pretty square, it is worth a quick visit.
