Antonis took us on a half-day tour of Delos and Mykonos.

While on Delos, through his amazing story telling and extensive knowledge, Antonis brought us back to ancient times. We walked through some of unearthed archeological discoveries and he gave great detail about the islands history, who would have lived and worked there, and what events took place.

While on Mykonos, Antonis took us around the city and gave a beautiful history of the island, it's shops and inhabitants, as well as introducing us to local artists and fantastic places to eat!

10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Delos and Mykonos to take a tour with Antonis. His passion and knowledge about the work he does is unmatched.

Thank you for such a wonderful tour!

What an amazing day we had with Antonis! My wife, daughter and I did an all day private tour of Delos and Mykonos and he made it unforgettable. We felt like we had been transported to the ancient city with his great energy and story telling. We go off the beaten path on Mykonos to see parts of the island we surely would not have otherwise. Just a 100% great all around experience.

We had the amazing experience of having as a tourist guide Mr Antonis Pothitos. He is very professional and passionate with his work. He has the incredible ability of creating the atmosphere by his descriptions of how this ancient island had been centuries ago. If you are planning to go for holidays to Mykonos you need to make sure you have arranged for a private tour of Delos with Antonis! You won’t regret it!!

Antonis is a wonderful storyteller. As he guided us through Delos, told us the story of Apollo, Artemis, and Delis. He brings history to life. You and almost see the pilgrims making their way to the sacred lake. You can imagine the men in Dionysus House watching the woman dance while she crushes the grapes and a servant getting water from the cistern under the beautiful mosaic floor. Sitting in the expensive seats in the theater, you can almost feel a nervousness as Antonis tells you that the citizens in the cheap seats in the back might pelt the actors and those in your seat for a bad performance. Antonis’ storytelling brings the history of Delos alive. This sacred birthplace of gods, this cosmopolitan business center. In Antonis’ hands you feel the life that once infused Delos.

Antonis also provides excellent suggestions about Mykonos & Paros. I visited Antiparos today on his recommendation and I am so very glad I did.

I’ve had a lot of guides while traveling. Antonis is one of the very best.

Many times you just take a tour, but every now and then you make a connection that will never be forgotten. That was the case with our tour of Delos with Antonis. He is one of those people who smile with their whole face and especially with their eyes, so even with a mask on we could feel the genuine welcome we received. We took the boat across to Delos and then began our tour. His knowledge of the site was amazing, but even more important was his passion and enthusiasm. We learned so much and not just about this site, but also of its importance to the known world at the time.
After our tour we returned to Mykonos where we had some free time for lunch and then Antonis gave us a tour of the town and took us to some of his favourite places. I thought Delos was going to be the highlight of the day, but it turned out to be Mykonos! Antonis’s playful side came out more on this part of the tour and he really came alive in telling us about the town. Everywhere we went, he was greeted him with warmth and affection and this was passed on to us as well, making us feel very special!
We parted with plans to keep in touch. We started out the tour with a guide, but felt like we ended it with a friend! As tour guides ourselves, we know how special this is.

Booking a private tour on Mykonos with Antonis a licensed guide, is the only way to go! Four of us were lucky to find him via the Rick Steve's tour book. He picked us up at our hotel with his driver and we literally toured the entire island stopping at a local sustainable dairy (delicious yogurt!), a vineyard for lunch (great wine!) and then walking the port area and eating at a farm to table small plates restaurant (Captain's: Food for Sharing) after catching the sunset. We finished at a local bakery that has been in the family for 9 generations!! Antonis is extremely knowledgeable, genuine, and a fun all around person and we learned so much. His passion for his work and the connections he has on Mykonos helped us to have the best day ever. Highly recommend booking his as a guide.

The guided tour of Delos and Mykonos with Antonis was an incredible journey into the past. He brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to bringing to life a mixture of myth and history, in the magical settings of Delos and Mykonos. Antonis is a brilliant storyteller with a great sense of humor- we highly recommend a tour with him.

We were lucky enough to have Antonis as our guide for two tours during our 5 day stay in Mykonos. We were a large group of 10 friends, and he kept us engaged with his storytelling the entire time.

We did an evening food tour our first night in Mykonos which, besides learning a lot about Greek food and Mykonos’s history, gave us the layout of restaurants for the rest of our stay. It was obvious that he knew the business owners well and we loved the “behind the scenes” feel we experienced. The quantity of food we got during the 5 or so stops was more than enough for dinner that night. And the quality was top notch. What a great start to our Mykonos stay.

Our second tour was a trip to Delos and is not to be missed. Without Antonis and his knowledge we would have just be wandering around looking at ruins. But Antonis used his extensive knowledge and unique storytelling ability to bring Delos to life. After the tour a couple of our group said that the first time that they looked at their watches was 15 minutes before we needed to head back to the boat.

We have taken tours in countries around the world, and I can honestly say that Antonis stands at the top of our list.

Antonis took us on an amazing walking tour of both Mykonos and Delos. He captivated us with his knowledge of historical landmarks, figures, acts and customs. In Delos, he painted the picture of what daily life was like in such a way that we were immersed in the experience. Hearing him speak of this beautiful country with such passion was truly inspiring.

We were coming to Mykonos at the end of March/beginning of April, before the tourist season really began. We only had 3 days in Mykonos, so we wanted to make the most of it. We looked for a good guide, and found Antonis. Antonis was amazing! We booked a private tour of both Delos and Mykonos with him, and we had the best time! He bent over backwards to make sure that we got to see everything we wanted to, which was tricky, as we were there before most of the island was ready for the season. We did a walking tour of Mykonos old town, a chauffeured tour of the rest of the island, and a trip to Delos. Along the way, Antonis introduced us to local businesses, and we were able to spend a day cooking at Mykonos Farmers, a delightful dairy on the island. In all, Antonis helped to make Mykonos the best part of our whole trip. We recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful, knowledgeable, local guide!
