We have been visiting Scarpa since our first trip to Mykonos in 2012 and it’s the best bar in Mykonos both for sunset and late drinks. It’s unpretentious with friendly staff, beautiful sunset views, delicious cocktails, great music and vibes. There are so many pretentious places with rude staff in Mykonos that this place is a real gem. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Mykonos.

We came here for sunset like most other tourists. We got there at about 5pm and got a table for 2 on the front with a great view. They guy that seated us took our order straight away. Once we have finished these drinks it seemed like he disappeared and didn’t ask us if we wanted anymore drinks, we had to find him. Whilst we were sitting at the table a person came and sat on the table next to us on his own, the guy immediately appeared and said you can’t sit there if you’re alone so he walked away (this is terrible) also we sat there for another 40 mins after this and no one else came and sat on the table so they missed out on the sale of drinks? Weird and not very fair! We also witnessed whilst we were there that when it is coming to around sunset time they put reserved signs on all the tables at the front and then once the sun is set they take them off? Is it to make them look like their busy/exclusive? Who knows! One compliment is the drinks! I had a melon colada and a delirium mocktail and they were yummy!!

Our overall experience here wasn’t that good & certainly this place is not for brunch. The waiter was rude & would not allow our group of six to use two tables, hence, three of us had our backs to the water sitting in the main walkway where a constant stream of day trippers filed through bumping us the whole time. All while the table next to us remained free! Firstly, cocktails are expensive. Toasted sandwiches, rolls & croissants are priced ok. However, our bread roll was not fresh. Food was average at best. The only good thing I really have to say is the view is magnificent. If you like people watching you’ll like it here. If you’re desperate grab a seat & hopefully you’ll have a better time than we did.

The cocktails are ridiculously EXPENSIVE, the view is nice but not worth it, there are better beaches in Mykonos with better views. They put a protective plastic right in front of the bar to prevent seawater from getting in, but this also covers the entire view, so you pay dearly for almost no view. The waiter who served us that day was insulting, bad service and above all he was not happy with the 10% tip, he laughed in my face and told me that it would be better not to tip him!

While the atmosphere and setting of this bar was lovely, I was horrified to receive a gloopy, artificially produced raspberry caipirinha for a hefty price of €16. When you pay that much for a cocktail, it should be a good cocktail. I would’ve expected to receive something like this for €5 in a Magaluf beach bar. Overpriced isn’t the right word as I wouldn’t drink this for any price.

Strange smell. Staff very rude. Place smelt like sewage problems. Drinks were overpriced and when they arrived they were served with rotten fruit in them. I work for a playing card company and we were having a business meeting before being told that playing with cards wasn’t allowed. Shame they missed out on our corporate christmas party deal. This place is well worth avoiding - idiotic staff run a dump of a business.

Ridiculous place, awful drinks where you couldn’t taste the alcohol at all, only one kind of beer (horrible taste & warm, I guess they want to discourage drinking beer as it’s harder to rip customers off with that), terrible white wine (which they brought with ice cubes in it- without asking!). Plus the shades were drawn so you couldn’t see the sunset anyway and waves were crashing into the front row seats of the bar. Oh and very uncomfortable stools. The whole place is kinda telling you to get ripped off and leave quickly, with horrible, tasteless drinks to boot!

Staff are incredibly rude! Overpriced drinks, we were told we weren’t allowed to sit at certain tables then every table was fully booked! Rude staff and rude manager wouldn’t bother wasting your time, lovely bars next door with much friendlier staff. Don’t bother asking for the manager because she’s not helpful and has an attitude.

Now this is a bar we have spent a lot of time at over the past 15-20 years. Definately the absolute best in Little Venice. Each year they put out a great CD on I-tunes. Super music, first class service and really good cocktails. Sit here and linger for hours people watching and ultimately in the end, to watch the sun set. We have never eaten here. We only ever come here for cocktails. Great vibe. Great feel. Super friendly and casual. If you are looking for a great bar to hang in, I would recommend Scarpa Bar. Consistently good over the years. Recommended.

Rude staff! May be because I was by myself, I wasn’t aloud to sit down at the table I wanted… apparently, they had people waiting for the table. But everyone else was just allowed to chose the table himself… Worst thing: when I asked about this, I wasn’t even given an answer!!! Never experienced anything like this. The staff of the bar next to it (‘Galleraki’) is so much nicer!!! Try that one instead.
