2 euros for this downsize maritime museum...worth it. but 20 to 30 mins is more than enough...nice little outdoor greenery (rare in Mykonos)

We were in Mykonos for one day only and I really wanted to visit this museum. However we had arrived on a cruise ship and I had lost track of time a bit and didn't realise that we were visiting the museum on a Sunday when it is closed. A great shame.

Not the most exciting museum but worth a quick visit. Many excellent ship models and various old artifacts. Closed for most of the day but if you are nearby drop in for half an hour.

It is next door to lenas house. This museum show items recovered from shipwrecks. Models of ancient ships, the top of a lighthouse with the lens intact, a meditation garden . Just a delight of maritime history .

Of the three museums in town, this was our favorite. Had some very interesting pieces, reasonable well labeled, and a beautiful outdoor area in back.

bluntly speaking, is doesn't resemble a museum at all... there is nothing worth seeing inside ... it is tiny and looks like another shop of fake precious things that are plenty in mykonos ...

Takes about 1 hour to go through and appreciate the maritime history of the area. Be sure to check opening times and days on the website as they can be a bit randomly adhered too.

Good interesting museum right in middle of the main street, models of the various ships incredibly detailed, apparently the lighthouse out the back was a real working model from the island!

It's rather useless if they advertise opening at 10:30 if that's not when they open. Hopefully they're open when we go to town later.
